Women's World Cup 2019 Thread

The keeper deflected it past the defender but the good thing was she got a decent amount of power and kept the shot down, lost count how many times I've seen someone blast it and it flies miles over the bar.

Yes, after the backpass was given it showed Duggan showing it to the ref, they haven't shown it since though so haven't really made much of it.

Ah, I saw the slow-mo replay of that of her showing the ref. Missed the start of the game, so I couldn't understand what was happening - it looked like she was rubbing in sun cream there was so much of it.

Disgusting.

I'm assuming they saw the replay with one of the England players offside (but not interfering with play) and were angered by this.

Playing the race card is stupid, they're the lowest ranked side left in the tournament and have clearly lost their heads. It's a shame the ref is so passive cause a number of their players should be booked/off.

Missed the last 10 minutes as my garden clearing guy came and come back to find I've missed the best part of the game.

Just heard the race card being played, who are they saying are racist England, referee or FIFA because I've not heard anything from the crowd?

Wasn't really clear, we just got a report that the Cameroon players were crying in the tunnel and claimed racism (seemingly towards fifa).
