A lot of british people won't say anything until its too late. British people can be very reserved and in some ways this can be a disadvantage, their kindness can be taken advantage of by malicious groups.

I think all regions should be actively discouraged, islam specifically has the potential to lead to disastrous results if allowed to fester and expand. Changing street signs or having multiple languages available on the council documentation is where it starts. I would be the same for any nationality or culture started to fester and expand. For example of Bulgarians started taking over a town and eventually a city, with implementing Bulgarian schools and the area using the language as a primary language, i would be on here saying the same thing.

They didn't know he was a soldier else they wouldn't have asked him if he was when they first got out of the car having run him over.

Why Islam specifically? Because it is alien to you?

Why is it worse than Christianity? Is it just that it is younger?

Christianity was alien to the Britons the Romans brought it to.

You have some far left, some far right, some Muslims, some non-Muslims, some wanting to 'send 'em back' even though that makes no sense, some stopping just short of advocating recent actions.

It's stupidity in the extreme. Backing anything that pre-judges people and encourages harm on others is wrong.

It's the truth, it's a undeniable fact the the UK is at war. I don't like this attack one bit, it's disgusting and barbaric. I wish Britain wasn't at war so these things would not happen, as it happens in all war.

I said islam specifically because i think that religion conflicts with western culture the most. For contrast in the muslim countries some western behavior is not tolerated and can result in severe punishment. To then allow such a culture in a country which is simply does not tolerate is why i think it is specifically problematic.

I think Christianity can be problematic as well. I have seen severe christian fundamentalism growing up in south Africa with 1000s of teen youth from a suburb going to weekly church and creating a whole social experience out of it. But the church of england kind of christianity is extremely mild and advanced and not what i would even consider christianity. i have met a few people that classify themselves as church of england christian and i actually knew more about the bible than them due to my upbringing in sa schools with heavy christian readings.

Indeed

Which is why any party like ukip or bnp will never get my vote.

It's just like the argument of people saying foreigners take "our" jobs or are detrimental to our economy, it beggars belief.
