Which is why they've been held in British custody until now. Look, if we can't hand them over to the Afghans, and we can't keep them in custody ourselves, then the only thing left to do is let them go - how weak would that make us look?

They'll side with anyone against Islam, because that's what the EDL want. They want to provoke tension with any Islamic group they can and when it all kicks off they'll cry innocence and protest that it's all not their fault and blame Muslims for everything.

They're against radical Islam, not Islam so anyone is welcome to join them. I think they even have at least one Muslim member. As for provoking tension, well it takes two to tango and maybe the reason why things are so tense is because of the sheer numbers of radical Muslims and ultra-liberal multi-culturalists there are in this country.

Radical Islam is the problem, EDL is not the answer.

I mean what are we really thinking then? If you spend 5 minutes looking at the type of person that attends the rallies and posts utter **** on facebook, do you really want to be associated about that kind of person?

Just like some Muslims don't want to be associated with extremists, as an English person I don't feel like the EDL is actually representing the interests of the common English man. They're just a bunch of football hooligan types headed up by a violent thug who hides under an alias in an attempt to hide what an utter arse he really is.

Not to say I don't agree with lefty liberals either because I don't really think Muslims are doing enough to stamp out extremism and they just choose to ignore it instead of speaking out, they pretty much facilitate it by not acting against it and letting extremists preach in their Mosques.

Is his first name, Drummer? Or is this a title in the army, eg, Corporal John Smith?

Ive seen in news papers where he is referred to as Lee Rigby and in other Drummer Lee Rigby.

True but they caught adebowale inciting racial hatred months back. They did arrest 10 muslim people at the time.

The thing is now a lot of people from different religions and walks of life are turning against extremist muslims.
As the saying goes "give the people a common enemy and they will join together"

Possibly because the legal definition of inciting hatred is considerably more robust than your definition. It actually (and rightly) takes a fair amount of effort.
 
Whatever the political impact of this is, it's obvious that generally people in the UK patients for Islam is wearing very thin. It won't take too many more incidents like this one to push some far right groups into rioting.
