Woolwich serious incident

it was recorded, just not shown because of the graphic content.. the folks recording on their phones got all of it, but the phones were taken for evidence.. these guys should hang, why should WE pay for them to stay alive? Anyone answer me this? We got rid of the hanging in case of a mistake, but with video etc, what mistake can be made.. Personally, they want to be martyrs, lets make them martyrs, hung drawn and quartered..
Pathetic people and cowards more importantly, nowt to do with creed or religion, more to do with self-importance and a lack of self - decency. A joke, and most of the country is in on it.. Lets bend over backwards for anyone from a different ethnicity, even at the expense of our own.. it's a joke that so many are so well versed at playing.. I've lived in birmingham 20 years, see it everyday. And I'm married to a filippino! Serious, lving in bham, the most racist are the pakistanis, followed by the west indians, followed by the african blacks.. and they ALL HATE the whites, it's the truth, as it is..

People live by their customs and beliefs, myself, if I was in charge I'd ensure if you live in Britain you abide by british customs.. my father a few years back was in disbelief as to why there were no xmas decorations in my local town.. if you come to a country for asylum etc, what gives you the right to change this country's beliefs? Sorry it is something I believe very strongly about, if you want to be british, then be british, accept all our customs, that is your due for staying in this great land. In birmingham currently you can go places where all the shops are in URDU, or there's places where white people are certainly frowned upon. A disgrace, how many people died in ww1 and ww2 for our freedom, and yet we are being screwed over in the name of being PC?

sorry to bump this, I came across it as a search, but I still FEEL very strongly about this incident, as you might have gathered, multiculturalism still has plenty to go, sorry to any I have annoyed by bumping >.<

Yes you can and they sell things specific to those communities. If however you go into them funnily enough the shopkeepers speak English and are really helpful. I know this because I went in one last week.

Oh and living in Birmingham for a lot longer than you can I can tell you the racists I've met have tended to come from Kingstanding and were white.

But of course I am not disputing what you are saying and are so obviously passionate about?

And most of the people who died in WW2 for this country and the great cause were not Western White - just saying.

That's ironic...it sounds rather like something we did a few hundred years ago, combined with the blight of Christianity.

Fortunately, one of the customs that we do uphold is not killing people for their crimes.

You may feel strongly about it, but change happens. You talk about this great land etc. It would be nothing without the immigration that has happened over the last 2000 years. Don't be ridiculous.

We are free. It's nothing to do with PC. The majority of the population of this country DO NOT deem execution an acceptable punishment for criminals.

I'm glad to hear that there are areas where immigrants feel comfortable. Good on them, quite frankly. I hope they will integrate better over the years, but as it stands, the children of immigrants who have been born in this country are as british as white you and I.

you live in Birmingham - it's a depressing hellhole of a dump of a city.

Used to live in Perry Barr for a fair few years, and found the local shops very handy :-D Didn't ever have a problem with my neighbours, or the fact that they spoke a variety of languages. The problems I had/saw where related to the economic area itself, such as drug gangs, the fact that they spoke another language is irrelevant. Lozells the next area up is worse economically, and the just happens to be another demographic there... and the crime is worse. I don't see that demographic as being the problem, only the level of economic distress.

I'm happy for the diversity. I'll admit though that Britain is changing, but that's something we'll just have to accept as the world opens up more and cultures get spread around.

However, things I don't like are not being able to fly an English flag on taxi's, not being able to use the word "Christmas" in the shops in case it offends and other ridiculous notions. Why don't they just suggest to shops to support other cultural holidays rather than banning the most common.

Of course they're going to plead not guilty, the reason they did this in the first place was for the attention, and the way to spark more hatred and attention towards their "cause" is by pleading not guilty.

This is exactly what they want to add fuel to the fire.
