Well thats a bit harsh...who knows maybe the Irish would have put in a much better solid effort than the French have over the past 2 games.

I'm not so sure Mexico and Uruaguay will just grind out a draw, purely because of who they might face in the next round. As it stands, Uruguay will get top spot and probably face South Korea/Greece/Nigeria, while Mexico will end up with a pretty in-form-looking Argentina. If I were Mexico manager, that alone would persuade me to actually go for it in the final match. Even if they lost, say, 2-0, France would still need to beat the South Africans by three clear goals to go through.
I think the biggest ******** in football (Anelka) has been sent home from the tournament, thank the good lord. Apparently him and Ribery (amongst others) have been refusing to play with Gourcuff and not passing to him etc. and at half time he swore at Domenech.

Personally i didnt see France play as France...more individuals than anything. Definitely something very wrong in that dressing room...because last week Malouda was left out as it was rumoured him and Domenech had a bust up which had to be broken up by Gallas :/

Cheers...shocking if true...but i can understand his fustration though...i mean Domenech has completely and utterly ruined the French team with his superstitions and his lack of confidence in some players.
