If you add nation specific girls in to their respective threads then that'll work well enough?:)

Indeed, cracking idea, you won't get all the knobs descending into one thread then :)

Yes, I think it will also create reference points in the threads making it easier to pick up the last post you read, etc. Good idea! :D

I think the best thing about these threads are your signatures Linoge.

Compliments of the link PK posted above, a 4th sig has been added to the rotation. :D

What time are we expecting the England squad to be announced?

Any time now up to 11pm I think.

SSN reporting that Walcott and Bent not going to SA so far...Carrick is in with SWP making it just ahead of Walcott.

Dont shoot me as im only reporting what im hearing on SSN.

Excellent news.

Feel sorry for Bent. Top English goal scorer in the Premiership before the last world cup and near the top again this year.

Have to say i feel the same as well...kinda gutted for the lad as he had a pretty decent season this year for Sunderland.

Not really shocked that Walcott has been left out...hes rubbish for England and Arsenal...so good call on Capello not taking that waste of space.

England to lose evey game and not even score a goal. That is my prediction.

Next tournie we will not be able to field an England team due to the foriegn influx. Thus the England team will cease to exist.

:D half in jest/ half serious :(

Interesting stat that no foreign coach has ever won the World Cup. So that narrows the possible winners down to:

Mexico, Uruguay, France, Argentina, S. Korea, USA, Algeria, Slovenia, Germany, Serbia, Holland, Denmark, Japan, Italy, New Zealand, Slovakia, Brazil, N. Korea, Portugal and Spain. :p

It makes Capello a bit of a liar too when he said he'll be bringing form players with him to the World Cup. If he brings 3 goals Heskey with him, what on earth does Bent have to do when he scored 24 this season.

I can't understand taking Wright-Phillips ahead of Walcott... I really can't. Another blow to Walcott's confidence then. That'll be a nice slow start for him next season I imagine.

You do know Walcott's a striker surely!? It's not down to 1 or the other, it should be both, then blow SWP up.

Arsenal signed him when he was 17, Wenger and Capello haven't played him up front (maybe the odd game for Arsenal up when there have been injuries). You'd think those two coaches would find his best position if he was truly a striker. Van Nistelrooy was a central defender until he 17 and his coaches seen him better further up the field.

What a shambles, why couldn't they just announce the squad properly and not make such a prolonged song and dance about it?

I'd agree but Wenger has always said he'll end up central, and he looks much better there. He's also not a good enough winger to stay out wide

Because SWP actually has dribbling talent, where as Walcott just relies on pace?
