Agreed. England counting on one goal to get them through..? Yep, blame the keeper for screwing up that strategy. And god forbid the opposition should score TWO goals. :o

You have to be joking, he had no service and still almost scored with a great strike, had that ball from Gerrard been a better he was in a good position for that header.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, playing Heskey is not good for Rooney, it means we lump it up to him too much and Rooney needs the ball on the ground. The amount of times Heskey actually manages to find Rooney from a flick on is low.
 
Yeah spain will probably destroy them, just like in the friendly they played recently (Recently in international terms anyway).

What is it with keepers having a 'mare against the USA anyway? Casi in the confed cup for spain had a complate 'mare against the USA too :x

You shouldn't be 'grinding out' wins when you're playing a team that were performing as poorly as the US were tonight, unless you're North Korea.

The US came very close to getting others anyway.

Finally some sense!
Almost every england player playing in the attacking third are used to playing football which flows at a pretty low height level, so why keep lumping it up to heskey? madness.

I disagree, his job was to hold the ball up for Gerrard & Rooney and he did that particularly well. I agree as I previously said if he wants to justify his place in the starting 11 he HAS to score the kind of chance he was presented with.
