People who are laughing at the comments regarding Heskey's performance (as a good one) need to watch football more carefully. He DID play well but unfortunately when he had the one chance to put us 2-1 up he missed it. Against the top teams like Brazil and Spain you simply HAVE to finish those opportunities or at least force the keeper into a remarkable save.
The players who can hold their heads high are Gerrard, Heskey, Terry and Johnson (going forward)
Oh, if you ever needed evidence of why Carragher shouldn't be playing RB (yes i know he was playing CB but found himself in a full back position) just ask Altidore.
I agree with everything you just said, particularly regarding Heskey. Although he should have scored when he was clean through, he created good chances for others players all night, and set up Stevie G's goal.
