Well that wasnt reallu surprising was it??...here i was thinking England would come out in the 2nd half and give the Germans a good run but nope completely and utterly inept again in defending...2 sloppy defensive errors that led to 2 german goals....utterly shocking really.

Now im hearing people say oh if that 2nd goal had gone in before the halftime whistle we would have won...personally i dont think it would have made a blind bit of difference really....we had the impetus going in at halftime personally and we should have taken it to the Germans but we didnt....anyhow it was disallowed and we can all site here and moan about it but it doesnt change the outcome...it would have have been 4-2 really but then no one can say with certainty.

Over the 4 game we have played...we have looked absolutely amateurish...geez drawing with algeria and then winning 1-0 to slovenia??..nah thats not WC winner form tbqh.

Anyhow England are out...shameful display by them today...the Germans made England look completely useless...definitely a world class performance by them thats for sure and what makes it even worse is that its a young German team that completely out-played us today :/

Rooney??...oh man he has looked absolutely useless ...hasnt done FA and its mind boggling why he has played so badly in this WC....perhaps his exertions for Utd have affected him??...who knows but on the basis of how he played in this WC....ermmm hes wasnt world class thats for sure.

On a more brighter note....i put a cheeky £100 bet on Germans to win through betfair...got odds of 3.1 so just made an easy easy £310 connection plus my £100 stake so £410...not bad for a days betting...now to make some more money on the Argie match later tonight:p
 
What gets me more though is the disgusting attitude of the ABE brigade. Caught a bit of radio 5 on the way back from the gym and some bloke rang in from Glasgow to laugh at England. There really isn't any need for it. Support the home nations unless your own country is playing. Football tournaments may bring out what is perceived to be the worst of English fans (ie patriotism which is funnily enough ok for other countries), and the bitter anti-English.
 
Oh look, news reports are already focussing on the goal that what never was. Rather focus on the 11 useless ***** wabble around on the field like zombies.

And English fans booing the Germans national anthem was real nice.
 
If England sent on 11 unknown players from the first division, they wouldn't have played so badly in this world cup.

The signs were there from the very first game, that as soon as they come across a half decent side, they are gonna get smashed. They need to go back to the very basics and start all over again now, they needed this thrashing to hopefully make that happen.

There's a guy on there now saying the German goal keeper is to blame for not admitting it was a goal :rolleyes:

Deluded for saying our problems were because of the positioning of our CB's was terrible or for saying Carragher's a better defender than Upson?

On either point you clearly have no idea what you're talking about if you disagree.
