Portugal played very poorly, england were all over them with 10 men. How can anyone say the better team won? More like the better goalkeeper.
 
That game was weak on every level. Portugal weren't playing that well, had little chances and lack of decent shots on goal, but we still couldn't beat them.

cant do nothing about it when portugal have a good keeper at pens ,,
as for rooney, the so called recovery from the injury made no diference , he played bad all 3 matchs .

It's so hard to take losing, I don't think I ever believed England would win though. :( I spose the best idea is to get drunk and be happy.

The last time I checked, their goalkeeper was part of the team, thats why people say that.

Pity he was'nt on our team! :rolleyes:

I'm the opposite, last few tournaments I have either been gutted or felt like smashing the place up.

Today = virtually no feeling at all, just 'oh well...'

Would've been the stamp, except there wasn't one. He just happened to step on the other player, he couldn't do much else considering he was being pulled about like a rag doll by the two Portuguese players.
 
Pity, but a fantastic last 75 minutes. And we lost a lottery, not a game of skill imho.


As to Rooney, it was debatable to if he did mean to do what he did.

For me, well I am going to start on supporting my second favourite team, Germany. :p
