That has to be one of the best games i have seen in a long time.

The better team won.

Portugal played very poorly, england were all over them with 10 men. How can anyone say the better team won? More like the better goalkeeper.

That game was weak on every level. Portugal weren't playing that well, had little chances and lack of decent shots on goal, but we still couldn't beat them.

Real fans would congratulate him on his team winning (assuming he supported portugal) alas, the England "fans" would kick the crap out of him, which pretty much is what ruins football for me.

Roll on the Ashes. ;)

Not really a real opposition fan would be gracious in victory, there's no excuse.

cant do nothing about it when portugal have a good keeper at pens ,,
as for rooney, the so called recovery from the injury made no diference , he played bad all 3 matchs .

that's won't happen because it's on betfair

(don't bet on Portugal winning... you'll be lucky to get past the semis)

Meh.. what do you think a team with a solid set of strikers and 11 men for 90 minutes will do to portugal... you're past the Mickey mouse teams now son :p

ive never cried when england have lost....

1st time for everything ehh

I'm the opposite, last few tournaments I have either been gutted or felt like smashing the place up.

Today = virtually no feeling at all, just 'oh well...'

Pity, but a fantastic last 75 minutes. And we lost a lottery, not a game of skill imho.

As to Rooney, it was debatable to if he did mean to do what he did.

For me, well I am going to start on supporting my second favourite team, Germany. :p

*ducks to avoid cinderblocks*
