Funny thing is, come that time, you know it will be delayed again, especially for those of us outside UK mainland since our shipping dates are already a few days later.

If that does happen, I'm just cancelling.

Set them straight!

This replacement has had zero issues though. My only real annoyance now is that when I plug in my work laptop as WFH,. the native res maxes out at 49Hz from the poxy Intel UHD 620 GFX it has. Have to drop to 2560x1440 to get 120Hz from that thing. Booo.

Think I'm going to give of to dell here and basically say "I told you so" (with regards to why they should have just given the full discount rather than being awkward), obviously won't get me anywhere and they'll probably cancel the second order but meh, whole thing has been a **** show :p

Thankfully lego star wars on the 55e7 will give me my oled fix for a good while.
 
Well I personally don't trust the date at all, still think it could come sooner... or later. It just feels like they keep putting the dates back to avoid support queries and they don't really know when they're getting shipments or whatever.

Which kinda makes it all the more annoying really. Don't really have a clue when we'll get the product. At least with the great gpu shortage a lot of the companies, OCUK included started giving updates on when they were expecting batches, whether they arrived etc etc.

I've just sent an email mouthing of about it and how all of this could have very easily been avoided :cry:

Came back to me and completely ignored the point that I was making yet again......

Have asked for an official email/link to where I can raise a formal complaint now lol.

Lol. Let us know how that turns out. I just shot of an email asking for my partial refund which they had promised but kindly asked for some more as a few here managed to get a few percent extra. I doubt anything will come of it, but worth a try.

Can’t complain for £787 for the best gaming monitor on the market and at least I got it somewhat early and not having to wait ages like some here will be. Might be a further £50+ cheaper if my cashback pays out :D

Will do. I'm not letting go now as I pointed out this logic to them many times and they always just ignored it and ignored the bit where they had granted the full discount for several others so it wasn't a case of them not being able to but more they weren't willing to for my case.... that and know fine well, when I asked for this to be raised to their manager, they lied through their teeth saying that it was.... as usually when things are escalated, you will get a phone call, not an email back from the same person.... No doubt if they had raised it to the manager, it would have been resolved.

I had no problems paying £1000 tbh but no way I am willing to pay more than £847 after experiencing their CS and seeing the likes of whitestar above having to wait for his warranty replacement until August......

Look on the bright side, you will have a couple of extra months warranty when your next one turns up :cry:
