This replacement has had zero issues though. My only real annoyance now is that when I plug in my work laptop as WFH,. the native res maxes out at 49Hz from the poxy Intel UHD 620 GFX it has. Have to drop to 2560x1440 to get 120Hz from that thing. Booo.

Can’t complain for £787 for the best gaming monitor on the market and at least I got it somewhat early and not having to wait ages like some here will be. Might be a further £50+ cheaper if my cashback pays out

I'm not letting go now as I pointed out this logic to them many times and they always just ignored it and ignored the bit where they had granted the full discount for several others so it wasn't a case of them not being able to but more they weren't willing to for my case.... that and know fine well, when I asked for this to be raised to their manager, they lied through their teeth saying that it was.... as usually when things are escalated, you will get a phone call, not an email back from the same person.... No doubt if they had raised it to the manager, it would have been resolved.
I had no problems paying £1000 tbh but no way I am willing to pay more than £847 after experiencing their CS and seeing the likes of whitestar above having to wait for his warranty replacement until August......
Look on the bright side, you will have a couple of extra months warranty when your next one turns up
