World first QD-OLED monitor from Dell and Samsung (34 inch Ultrawide 175hz)

Meanwhile some of us who had ours ship yesterday apparently have no update from Syncreon as they haven't received it, lol.

Doesn't feel like there's much rhyme or reason with how dell or their partners operate.
 
Could be based on location. Those closer to the north could get it more earlier than the south or vice versa
You'd think they would hand it over to their partner straight away though, which seems to have happened for some. Overall it just seems very odd.

Don't have an estimated delivery date either, so can't really plan for people being in to accept it.
 
Mine was picked up on the 9th and left the terminal on the 10th. I believe the Syncreon tracker doesn’t work for me as it still says “not received at warehouse”. So I rang them early yesterday and have been told Wednesday for me.

It cost to call the number - found out the hard way lol already up to £8 charges. Two or three of the calls resulted in an automated message that says “no one can take your call right now”

Dell portal just says departed terminal.

I’m not at the delivery address until tomorrow so hope it will be tomorrow.

Yeah same story with my tracking. Left the terminal yesterday and they've allegedly not received it at their warehouse.

Hoping its Wednesday or Thurs for me too? I dunno how hopeful I am with so little info though, lol.

Rang a 0871 number.

Just rang the 01455 number (thanks JediFragger) and got told it’s not come in yet - no notes saying it will be delayed either. Still expecting delivery tomorrow.

We will see :D
 
Oh… i did ask if it was coming by plane from NL and was told no it would be by vehicle.

Although mine was sent over the weekend wanted to double check just in case somewhere in the delivery chain they don’t work weekends.

Just a little frustrating as the Dell website has some tracking information although when I click on the Syncreon link there is nothing there, so where are Dell getting their information from?
Quite a bizarre tracking system.

I shouldn't moan as at least it's on the way.
 
Anyone recommend a decent length Display Port 1.4 cable?
The AW3423DW comes with a 1.8m DP to DP 1.4 cable.
A decent length could be anything depending on your setup? Looking at a few reddit threads looks like 2m / 3m is a good length. I think ensuring it is VESA certified should deliver the claimed bandwidth.

Depends how long you want I suppose. I bought a club3d one a few years back after having issues with the one included with my current monitor, been pretty happy with it and will likely continue to use it with the new monitor, if and when it arrives. Think they do those in either 2 or 3m.

Edit: Seems they do up to 5m even.

Anyone recommend a decent length Display Port 1.4 cable?

I used a "Snowkids" "8K Displayport cable 1.4, Snowkids 3m displayport 8K cable,DP 1.4" with my AW3821DW since the included one was too short for my monitor arm. No issues at all running 144hz @ 3840x1600, and will continue using it for this monitor.
 
Just got an email from Syncreon:

Due to unexpected delays or changes to your delivery service, we will not be able to deliver your order as originally planned
on the 13/04/2022. The new delivery date of your order is scheduled to be 14/04/2022 between 8am and 6pm.
