Someone on reddit has opened his up and replaced the fans with Noctua lol. Crazy mofo. Obviously warranty out the window.

It's a bit crap yes, but it's got some decent action and SFX so if you like scifi and action and Jovovovichesvich, then watch when you have a couple hours free one evening

Only that it popped up on briefly on an OcUK competitor for £900. Could have been a placeholder price who knows....

Yea mine was a window of 15:15-16:15. Came at 13:05

Contacted dell customer service, delivery date meant to be 22nd, vague update was: should be shipped by the end of the month.

Seemed to have gotten some good luck with this, no dead/stuck pixels I can see after a quick check and can't really hear the fan (after 20/25mins on inc game test).

You will hear the fan afer a few hours and at random times, it doesn't matter if you are gaming or reading a word doc

Unless your PC is loud just being idle of course.

Ok thanks, guessing it'll kick in during a gaming session or something. Radeon settings is saying that it does Freesync 1Hz-175Hz so I'm guessing it fully utilises the gsync module which is great

How does it compare to your previous monitors for gaming and movies? Also do you see proper blacks or you seeing grey like some?

Yeah blacks seem fine, the dark detail generally is fantastic now. Will test a lot more in the coming days but def seems a keeper so far

I was almost certain you was going to flip it. I guess worth using for a few months at least, you can probably still sell it for a similar amount in a couple of months

Yeah, I have my eye on the 42in Asus that's coming at some point, I love a big screen tbh.

Yea, I would prefer that also, but that is not QD-OLED and then on top the price makes it a no no for me.

If Samsung can make a 32" 4K QD-OLED ideally without a fan, and go glossy, that would be perfect for me if they can do it under a grand.
