Dell have agreed to the warranty replacement. They will send me a panel and then take the old one the next day.This isn't normal.
I have asked Dell to kick off the warranty replacement process - hopefully they send me a new panel and exchange it for this one vs. me having to send it all back.
Bizarrely, after two days of the loud fan issue, it seems to have stopped as of this morning. Been using the monitor for a few hours and nothing yet... I'll give it a few days.
