World first QD-OLED monitor from Dell and Samsung (34 inch Ultrawide 175hz)

Got the line down the center of the screen again and it's ONLY in SDR mode... This time I could clearly see a screen divide in Dayz, with left side being darker than the right  . As soon as I turned up the Dark Stabilizer it vanished

This is what I saw in DayZ

Other's with the issue

UPDATE :

Seems it's this, which is common with some OLED screens

Thanks for all the help, guys! It appears that since I original researched the issue there were new reports of it and thanks to Skeeter, it's now sorted :D

It was the Dark Stabilizer setting. I have changed it to 0, but simply just changing the setting from the original setting of 1 to something else and then back to 1 sorted it too. So I guess like has been mentioned it's probably temporary, but I'm cool with that as it's at least a way to sort it out.

Thanks again guys. I had been looking in to for ages and 1 day after a post here it's sorted lol. Good old OCuk forums!

It should not be too dark to see anything if the calibration is right! if you don't have a calibration method though then I guess that setting could help.

Using Aliens Isolation + 1979 reshade, so it's as scary as hell! ( Just not calibrated for HDR as the game was never HDR haha )

I dislike reshade personally, never seen a reshade that produces anything that doesn't look too artificial :p

I'm not a great fan of filters/reshade normally but Hogwarts Legacy is vastly improved using filters. Otherwise just looks murky and lacking contrast.

Can anyone recommend a 3m Display Port cable for this which actually works? I had to move my office space around so the original cable I had is no longer long enough. I have a longer cable from an old Samsung CF791 which works OK. But starts playing up when I try and run at 165mhz. It forces the colour format to YCbrCbr4:2:2 which causes some strangeness and banding.

I’ve used a StarTech 4m cable for my DWF for the past 9 months without issue. My PC sits on the opposite side of my room where my sim racing rig is, which is what I use the screen for.
