At this resolution they should be at least 360hz, so 240hz is lame

What is the consensus on the G85SD? I've been waiting for the AW3423DWF to go on sale but can grab a G85SD for £565.

Okay, it appears I've missed the deal for the G85SD but the AW3423DWF is now available from Dell directly for £636. Is this a good price for the Alienware?

Depends on what the new AW3425DW comes in at and if you need the extra refresh rates offered, but that is likely to be over 800 GBP.

The extra refresh rate won't be needed at all, I mainly play newly released single player games and I'm normally getting less that 100FPS.

Is the new model likely to have a newer gen panel?
