Depends on what the new AW3425DW comes in at and if you need the extra refresh rates offered, but that is likely to be over 800 GBP.Okay, it appears I've missed the deal for the G85SD but the AW3423DWF is now available from Dell directly for £636. Is this a good price for the Alienware?
The extra refresh rate won't be needed at all, I mainly play newly released single player games and I'm normally getting less that 100FPS.Depends on what the new AW3425DW comes in at and if you need the extra refresh rates offered, but that is likely to be over 800 GBP.

Is the new model likely to have a newer gen panel?

I just decided to order the AW3423DWF, it arrived today and I'm extremely happy with it. It's a significant upgrade from my S3422DWG.
I did, I'm going to factory reset my PC tonight however as I've changed display and graphics card now and I like to keep things fresh when I change hardware. If you are on Windows 11 make sure to use the Windows HDR Calibration Tool from the Windows store. Makes a big difference to HDR.
I have it set to sleep after 5 minutes to be safe but normally turn it off manually if I'm leaving my desk. Good to know light mode shouldn't cause too big of an issue.
My PC is basically only used for YouTube and gaming so hopefully it'll have an easy life.
