*** World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth ***

Just reached 340 ilvl on my prot warrior.

Prot warrior tanking really isnt in a great place right now. So clunky, not really enjoyable. The GCD changes have totally made ignore pain really quite annoying.

My unholy DK (horde) just hit 120 :). After a 10 year break it’s taking me a while to get used to WoW again. Struggling with all my key bindings etc but will just take time.

Does anybody here use Weak Auras 2? I want to create a button that does the following:

1) Shows cooldown counter
2) Button flashes/flips when spell is ready for use but hasn’t been cast

Try TellMeWhen - http://www.chesder.com/death-knight.html

There are also class trials you can do before using a boost, they aren't available for all specs but from the video below it looks like you can now at least play the Siege of Lordaeron as well as the quick tutorial on the ship so you should be able to have a decent go at them I guess. There are plenty of guides out there for each class/spec on youtube, wowhead etc each class also has their own discord community which can be helpful: https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/wiki/discord#disbtn

You select a sub class but once you've done the 15 min intro sequence, you've got free reign to change sub class and play how you like. It's super handy even for trying out a class if you're bored of your main and want to try something else out.

WA doesn't make clickable buttons, but you can make cooldown icons with it easily. Just create a new icon and under 'trigger' select 'spell cooldown' and then type in the name of the spell. On the 'display' tab you can select inverse cooldown so that it is lit up when ready. You can make it flash by going to actions and selecting 'button glow'.

Wago.io is a good place to search for weakauras, single and complete packs. If you want a simple one for the odd spell then it's better to learn how to yourself.

Having a blast with my Outlaw rogue. 335 ilvl atm with dogpoop weapons. If only those 350 BoE's weren't so costly. lol

I can’t belive how much some people play this game, I thought I was dedicated getting to 120 in a week with no gear to speak of.

Some people have 3 characters at 120 all in mythic gear ready for raiding

Yep, WoW still has some people hooked and they know how to maximise their time spent every expansion. Hopefully we don’t end up with a scenario like in legion when people were farming mythic+ runs for 16 hours a day just to get ahead.

Yeah these will be the world first guilds no doubt.

Well for the first time since very early Pandaland I just bought another month.

I have questions :D

If I buy BFA will I automatically get Legion and the rest? The last one I bought was MOP.
Are addons still a thing? I couldn't live without healbot and various other bits and bobs (bagnon, auctioneer, TSM to name but a few) so I'm not sure what the deal is with that.

Cheers :)

Yeah. They're in the Twitch desktop client now (they bought out Curse). I think you can install them manually, but dunno how.

Cool, thanks. I take it by buying BFA I'll be up to date then?
Yes you'll be up to date, base game and all expansions up to and including Legion are included in the subscription now, BFA is the only separate purchase needed for the 110-120 content released last week.

Feels like there are far far far too many quests to be done. I was level 120 after 1 and a half zones.

So far at 120 I’ve spent around 10 hours trying to finish the remaining zones and I’m only around 80% done. It’s really not fun at this point.

With enemies now scaling with your item level it’s such a drag. The whole point for me is being 120 and being able to dominate the stuff you’be just been leveling through. Not for it to be a constant grind feeling as if you are no more powerful than before.
