World of Warcraft: Classic

We got straight in pyrewood when login was working. Got disconnected a couple of times but never had to queue. We even got straight in at 11.01pm but game Crashed when I messed some graphics settings.

We managed to get 3 or 4 quests done. Not laggy at all for me.

Got to level 4 in the first hour or so then the great EU server disconnect happened, logged back in to a queue of 12k, took 5 hours to get back in the server only to get a “server shutdown in 8 minutes” message :D

Thought I would grab an hours kip but I’m stuck in a queue of 5k.

It’s certainly a realistic launch :D

These queues are insane even at 9am, hate to imagine how they'll be at peak EU time, I think I'm going to chance it on a different server with a more reasonable queue time as I want to actually play and not worry about logging in 5 hours before I want to play

Folks, what server is everyone on? Sharraz or what ever it's called still has an 8000 person que this morning but the other 3 pvp servers are low.....seems silly to keep siting in the high server que?

I think something has gone very wrong with some of the servers and/or layering just is not working properly.

I logged on instantly at launch last night (no login queue) on Mirage. There were hundreds of people playing in my zone and lots complaining it was too busy.
However the mobs were re spawning ridiculously fast (much faster than originally) and completing quests was easy. So much so I farmed troggs for the best part of 3 levels with no down time.
The respawn time on items is also much faster than it was so that is not an issue either. Felix's tools were basically instantly re spawning.

I played in original beta and played at launch and everything seems to have been nudged just slightly easier.
The OOC heath regen is massive. I have not had to sit and eat at all.

Coming out of the gnome starter area with full mail pieces, all my class skills, 3 (3!!!) bags and a stack of silver would have been "king of the world" territory.

Even charge seems to have a massively increased range (this one could just be me though).

By the time I logged at 2:30 it seems loads had logged off. I ended up pretty much questing on my own and managed to mine several stack of copper, which was a surprise as there was no competition for veins.

Mirage was listed as Full at 11 when I logged on. At 2:30 it was low, so a massive amount of characters had been deleted.

As above, based on the chat in game I expect a massive drop off of chars within weeks.
