even in the world levelling I saw barely anyone and those I did were alliance 90% of the time.

barely anyone grinding rep etc.

WOTLK is actually the last time I played this char until a few days ago.

anyway transfer is complete already :D
just gotta finish watching this ep of homeland then off to check out my new realm :D

You get a reward from doing CM's that contain a random piece of ilvl 640 loot if i'm not mistaken?

I got really lucky last week and had 2 pieces of 665 BoE gear drop from normal mobs :D
One was the shield, which I'm currently using on my warrior, and the other was the ring (was called ring of plunder of something like that). The stats were nice, strength + stamina, but decided to sell it for 30k instead as the secondary stats weren't the best for tanking.

Currently sat at 632 ilvl and getting bored of heroics so need to get them CM's bashed out for some more upgrades.
 
Playing on Sylvannas I saw about 5 horde players from 90-100.

I'll point out its 80% Alliance populated.

Tons of Alliance but then its a very high pop server.

Currently at 626 Ilvl hopefully be getting the last couple of pieces to HC then i'll be waiting for the raid.

If so, to skin you need a skinning knife (purchased from any trade goods vendor I believe) then when you kill a beast or such you can skin it for leather. As for leather working, If you press P it should open the professions tab, you will have a leather working button, click that and it will open the leather working tab, this will then show you what mats you need.

Thanks for that. I am newish i have one 90 char but i am working on a new one to get to level 60 then use my boost to 90. Also never really did professions on my first character.

D:? What crafting prof lets you sell things?
My enchanter and blacksmith stuff is all BOP :/

That and the ability to make them is tied to mats that you can only make a certain amount of each day, I really hate this new system, can't even buy them.
It's going to be over a month or so before I get get a set of the 640 stuff and the basic raid is going to make it obsolete, then you need to spend the same amount of mats and time upgrading it.

Do you have multiple characters crafting the same type? Ive been maxing out how many bars I can make a day on blacksmithing and I can only JUST make one piece, let alone the weeks it will take to make two more pieces.

I was curious on this myself. I have had my JC guy doing work orders constantly with a guy working here and have done my daily craft every day. I perhaps wasted around 5/6 Taladites but have only just crafted one item.

I know at max rank you can create 10 a day instead of 5 a day with your Daily cool down.

Any idea how long MC is available for? Is it difficult to do and how long will it take? Im interested in getting it but not sure Ill have the time.
 
Can anyone explain my item level.
Last night I hit 610 and then did the silver dps challenge unlocking the queue option for heroics.
this morning my item level is lower showing as 570 equipped/606

there's nothing in my bags better than I'm wearing and I'm using a 2hand weapon
the website showing the same gear has item level 610/611

Am I missing something? non of my gear is damaged or anything which was the first thing I checked but now I'm completely lost

gah FFS just figured it out I got rid of alchemy but still had the trinket equipped

Can anyone help me please?

I just installed warcraft again for the first time in nearly 4 years.

I installed using the cataclysm disc as I was told I didn't need to buy pandaria now.

It all went through to the new battle.net installer but then it said it couldn't locate the game files.

I think I ended up downloading the entire game like a steam game over the top of it.

Does that mean I now have a 11gb cataclysm file somewhere on my computer plus the 26gb warcraft file?

I don't know if all the files could have been overwritten?
 
Arknor it can change depending on zone, for example I have some PVP gear that scales down for any normal zone but in Ashran it scales back up as some gear boosts itself for battelground and PVP zones :)
So I can see like what you do because suddenly my PVP gear in my bag is a higher item level in Ashran but back in Nagrand it's scaled back.

Are you sure you dont have stuff in your bags? this would be the only reason.
