yea i always vote no.

some dps in skyreach on the boss where you body block the laser beams didn't do it and we wiped.

tank started going mental even though he never blocked them either.....

Told him to calm down and stop being toxic.... he asked why..

I told him it's one mistake! if the guy learns from it when we tell him what to do what is the big deal?

I get a lot of children play wow and they don't neccasarily go out of their way to learn tactics but theres no need to insult people over a bloody game!
 
yeah ive been lucky enough not to really see any toxic behaviour so far in LFD.

Molten Core LFR was a different matter tho and an exercise in paitence in the extreme, im glad blizz dont intend on doing such again.

Anyway was lucky enough to get the pet, mount and helm from first run so ill not need to go back trying to get the pet on alts :p

I think its only the pet that isnt 100% on first rag kill. I didnt get the pet, but no way am I going through that again just for a pet.
most of the group were fine, it just takes one person, by accident or in most cases on purpose and everything goes to hell.
 
Best time to do MC will be just before they remove it, at least people will generally be better geared and better with their class.

I did it right away and it took about 3 hours, we had to kick a few idiots at the start who thought pulling everything was funny. After that everyone listened and it was pretty smooth.

Key points are to plan around the blue mushrooms. That's your DPS. You have to fully utilise those to be able to kill him. Have your flame throwers on ranged DPS as well ideally.

My guild wiped 8 times on him last night, we were using melee to do the flame throwing.
 
Yeah he's a bit tricky. The mushrooms are the key to the fight. You have to fully utilise them to kill it before the moss just overwhelms you.

Melee / ranged on the flame throwers probably doesn't make that much difference in fairness as you're only talking the difference of a second or so lost DPS

Use hunters man. Disengage and displacement allow for a more mobile class whilst the range aspect lets them make the most of the post flaming buff.

Remember your flamers wanna keep as close to 100% uptime on flame as possible. They shouldn't be trying to DPS the boss really.

yea as the number of people for the mechanics doesn't change based on the raid size. Pretty tough to do as a 10-man group.

Need some decent damage to really take advantage of the blue mushrooms otherwise the moss becomes too much of a hassle. When I did it we pugged an extra 5 or 6 dps.
 
Yeah, we struggled a lot, we didn't realize you could use movement speed while using the flamethrower, once we figured that out it was a lot easier, we still spent about 4 hours learning and getting him down though :P
 
I read the tactics for Twin Ogron on Icy-Veins and it made it seem way more complicated than it actually was. Downed them after 3 or 4 tries fairly easily.

Got stuck on Tectus for a bit, took us a while to nail the tactics.

Gunna try first two bosses on HC tonight.
