I need a new bow to replace my Hellscream's Warbow. Currently doing LFR Highmaul, and I'm 1 ilvl off from getting into LFR Foundry. Also need a new neck item (currently using a 602ilvl green!!). Any suggestions about which bosses to keep doing, or world drops etc?

I'm a MM hunter if that helps.

EDIT: Can't use any Warlords crafted as I'm wearing a helm, chest and legs crafted by moi.

just go into the Dungeon journal and look at the highmaul bosses loot, and use your extra roll on the one which drops the neck. Drov the world boss drops necks, and theres always BoE ah.

LFR Foundry isnt out yet btw, maybe it will open this wednesday but for now its just highmaul LFR

These are some possibles for possible upgrades...

Neck

Ranged Wep (you said bow but I assume you wouldn't mind which type it was)

You can obviously adjsut the settings to get more/less results

I've had loads of ilvl 630/645 necks just from running garrison missions.

How is MM doing with T18 gear? Most hunters seem to be survival.

run few days in Ashran world PVP and get a 660 neck

(few hundred conquest here and there and eventually you will get 1250 i think needed for neck) or get 620 Honor points one....

It's fallen down the rankings a bit since the start of WoD where is was really strong. Although 6.1 has the following changes:

Marksman

Careful Aim now increases critical strike chance of Steady Shot, Focusing Shot, and Aimed Shot by 50% (down from 60%).

Chimaera Shot damage increased by 30.4%.

Sniper Training is now 25% more effective.

Nice buff to MM. I think Hunters will need to run with 2 specs in 6.1. MM for single target bosses i.e. Gruul, Brackenspore, and Survival for AoE heavy fights i.e. Operator Thogar, Tectus.

ive been playing MM on my hunter since launch of Warlords, aint gonna change for the sake of a few extra dps, as with any classes i continue to play the spec i enjoy most not the one pullin the best numbers on some patchwerk sim.

Been having loads of fun on my mage as fire lately, never really tried it before but its more fun than frost for me at least

I must be the only person that thinks Hunters didn't need a buff, our raid has stacked 4 of them and they are all top end of our charts on almost every fight.

Aye the Ret set bonuses are seriously good. Shame the Holy ones aren't comparable.

Buffing a spell which hardly anyone uses. Light of Dawn is seriously pants. The set bonuses make it usable but it's nothing to write home about.

Man I really need to get my arse into gear, I still havent even got the last boss on Highmaul yet, and have only tried Blackrock foundy once but managed to get 3 bosses down...not having much luck with gear either.

I still need to work on Demo Aoe Damage as when more adds come into fights I am feel like I am doing somthing wrong or missing something.

Does anyone play on Bloodhoof Alliance Side? Although I only even join as a Pug or Create one and 90% of the time I suceed on creating my own rather than joining. I think I am a little picky and not just inviting anyone/anything and but still struggling on getting a decent group for imperator

Can't wait for my 2/4 Ret set bonuses, was behind locks on priority, hopefully get my 2 set this reset if they drop, should make Ret a little more involving priority wise.

Ive done a fair bit of pvp, though only in ashran and managed to get myself some conquest gear, including a 2h sword i picked up the other day but one thing i erally want is a vicious saddle, but having never touched arenas before, what would you say is the easiest way to get one, through battlegrounds or arenas?

I dont know anyone else who does arenas but im guessing you can find people in the looking for group tabs.

So it seems while Method went 10/10 BRF there maybe some drama associated with it as its alleged they transferred a couple of characters to fresh accounts in order for guild members to play them during the kill of Blackhand Mythic for class stacking reasons.

If true this is a ToS violation and Blizzard will have a sticky situation to deal with as they recently banned high profile PvPs for similar offenses.

I'd probably say arenas would be the easier option, simply for the logistics of only needing to find another 2 people and the fact arenas take a lot less time.
