I've recently started playing again, I quit in Cata so didn't play any of Panda world. I've got my DK to 100 and my Warlock, I want to get back into tanking but 99% of random people in groups are absolute ****s. Anyone fancy grouping with me this weekend for some dungeon spam?

Also, anyone pro with WeakAuras2? I'm having a mare figuring out how to make it trigger for Soul Reaper @ 35%?

Weve gone backwards and forwards in time so much in wow i have no clue whats going on, doesnt really matter anymore though now because you spend 99% of your time in your garrison.
 
So after the first week since the raid went out, how has people managed. How did you go about it (PUG or Guild) what item level is roughly needed ect.

For me we havnt got past the first boss lol (i PUG it as i cant comit to dates and times lo, and LFR is not a challange) Will be doing a fresh HC HM run with bro tonight trying to get my gear a little better as i still have crafted gear lol.

Wednesday - 6M in Highmaul and 3HC in BRF
Thurs - 8HC in BRF
Sun - 9HC in BRF
Monday - Night of Mythic Imperator wipes.

Can't wait for Mythic BRF this week :D
 
Had a bit of a clean up in HC BRF last night. Got 4 items. Joined a guild group and they were pretty decent players and loot distribution didn't go against me just because I was the non-guildie so can't complain!
 
I see Paragon have went about it the right way, most of the other top guilds jumped straight into mythic, paragon farmed heroic on alts/mains so everyone has 4pc bonus. They went from 0/10 to 5/10 pretty quickly, can see them getting world 1st again.

A lot of Method already had 4pc bonus going into Mythic. Just saying ;) Some of them had normal 4pc instead of HC 4pc, but 4pc normal still trounces the Mythic HM gear.

At this stage though, I feel like time spent on the boss can help quite a lot more, than just ilvl. Paragon only have average 1 ilvl above other guilds. We will see. I think Method can reclaim it, like they did when they lost World 1st HoF to BL, and then took back ToES and ended T14 as top.

Now Method and BL have had 24 hours extra on the 8th boss (whoever that happens to be for these guys).

Yeah and Paragon have caught them up within hours lol, they're 7/10 at the moment, same as Method.

The last boss is the one that really matters anyway but I can't see anyone put Paragon taking 1st again. They just seem more tactically capable and learn fights much quicker.

Yeah man, in my experience applying to better and better guilds is the only way to play better :) Even at this level there are people who simply show up for farm raids and vanish come progress.

Last night we had Blackhand HC at 0%, wiped with approximately 500hp remaining. Not 500,000.... 500. From a starting pool of 185,000,000.

Personally i think you have pick a pretty lame reason to quit, but each to their own.

I hardly spend time in the garrison and have had some pretty usful items/gear out of the garrison. Also twitter can be used in some good ways if used correctly. But i do agree with the random selfie thing.

Content is great no problems there.
 
you know what im not a big fan of the twitter integration either but it just occured to me that it could actually be a really cool way to make a WOW timeline/scrapbook of your time in the game.

Killing those progression bosses, upload some pics, getting that alt to 100 upload the final ding, taking pepe on a tour, :)

All you do is make a twitter account specifically for wow, make it private and just use it as a way to record your time in game with some nice screenshots.


In my wow folder i have a few hundred screenshots, looking back now it would have been awesome to have those uploaded to one place with date stamps and little flavour text, our first LK heroic kill, getting our first shadowmourne etc.

Personally im a fan of the idea, altho was very skeptical at the start, the simple truth is new features are completely optional. Dont like them dont use them, your experience is no worse by their addition to the game
