***World of Warcraft : Warlords of Draenor***

Hmm im really liking this expansion so far, was fun lvling once the lag passed about a week after release, and the raids have been great, the first one nice and easy to get people geared, now the second one is a bit more of a challenge.

I'm not overly keen on the garrison, but everything thing else has been pretty good so far. When ive got some spare time i wanna lvl an alt, so i can actually see all the story line i missed during the lag fest after release.

Yeah I'm like half way thru leveling a lock, only to figure that I don't really like em :P

Well I resubbed after 3 years away and am hooked again!

I got to level 20 by questing and then made the mistake of doing the dungeon finder, now I'm hooked on that as the levelling is so fast (I don't want to just skip straight to 90 as I want to relearn the warrior mechanics to some extent). Gone from 20 to 35 in a couple of hours with one group who had an insane tank who would pull half the dungeon at a time! :p

Feel so much like a noob though, the way you learn skills etc is nothing like how I remember it so learning to play the warrior class again feels like it's for the first time!

I always do that m8, it makes learning the skills fun, ya could just go watch a video or read a guide on what skills to use, but theres nothing like learning it your self, so when the situation comes up that ya need a skill, you hit it by instinct rather than trying to remember what ya read in a guide.

Well all the new graphics options seem to have really upped the gpu demand. In 6.0 I was running max VSR resolution with CMAA and everything ultra with a locked 60fps even in raids but now with all the MSAA and SSAA options back I can really bring even a 295x2 to it's knees again :)

Yeah i did the same, i maxed out the graphics and i went from 160 fps in stormshield down to 30 lol, looks pretty and is nice for questing but wouldnt fancy fighting a raid boss like that, theres too much stuff going on distracting me from the encounter mechanics. I normally just run it on low and turn up the few settings needed to see mechanics.

When my game time runs out i am not going to bother for abit. Pretty major disappointment this expansion has been.

Sure the graphics are way better, and some other cool things. But for content its really poor i find. I pvp mainly, just wondering why arent there new bgs.

Ashran pretty fail if you ask me. Hope it picks up soon enough.

Ashran is horrible and tend to be making it worse if that is possible with the changes.

I'm still enjoying playing but I don't tend to get to play a whole lot so that helps an awful lot.

When I do get to play I tend to just do some BGs or go looking for some Alliance to kill out and about in the world :p

What do people thinking of the new Introducing the WoW Token?

"he tokens are coming in Patch 6.1.2, coming to the PTR soon.
Some BoE raid loot and Black Market Auction House changes may come as a result of all this.
The price isn't set yet, but it won't be less than the regular subscription price.
You can buy the token without logging in to your character if your account has lapsed.
Blizzard will set the initial price and then let supply and demand take over"

Well, finally got around to doing ICC for the first time ever. I just wish I was playing when WotLK was relevant, would have been an insane boss battle at the end!

Will do the Heroic when the raids reset. Do I have to go through the Normal one first to do the Heroic, or am I free to do the Heroic from now on due to having the achievement?

I like the idea of paying in game gold for playtime, but to me there are 3 major problems with it.

1. The fact that there's now a way to effectively buy gold in WoW makes Blizzard no better than the farmers to me (they already lost the high ground to the botters when they started charging £40 to level your character for you).

2. WoD launched in a very unfinished state; it's clear now that they were too busy mucking around with this and Twitter crap to get it finished in time.

3. It's another step towards pay2win, but I guess that's more of a side effect of letting the Activision cancer anywhere near your products.

But yeah, apart fron that i'm enjoying the game. :p
