***World of Warcraft : Warlords of Draenor***

It just takes time really. My group is at 7/10 HC now, we started quite slow but seem to have picked up the pace quite quickly. Ka'graz, Thomog, and Thogar all fell quite quickly in succession. Last night we were getting Maidens consistently to ~10% so they should go down tomorrow.

im getting board now too just loging in to do my garrison and thats about it i mite try to find a new guild as mine is not active at all at the moment and getting board of the LFR groups with hardly any loot

Ugh. So we finally downed Mythic Iron Maidens last night... the joy of joys that is Blast Furnace and Blackhand awaits. I've not dreaded bosses this much in a long time, we are probably looking at two weeks before Blast Furnace drops... a month of solid wipes before we manage to nail Blackhand... christ.

im having a problem with wow the last few days, in game objects such as npcs, mobs, signs, barrels etc etc only appear when im almost on top of them.

im using a v fast computer and its only just appeared yet I cant understand whats causing it.

Went through all the Cata content in terms of dungeons and raids last week.

Whoever designed Spine of Deathwing needs to be shot.

Spine is incredibly easy once you know what you're doing. The mechanics are implemented in a way that makes it very simple to manipulate them. It's basically this:

  • Zone into the encounter
  • Kill 3 tentacles
  • Get secured and force a roll by standing on his left or right side
  • Kill the remaining tentacle
  • Kill bloods, get big add to 9 stacks, kill big add at the front of the boss so that it removes the armour plating
  • Kill the connective tissue (or whatever it's called)
  • Kill all tentacles but one, force a roll.
  • Rinse and repeat.

All the while, keep moving from side to side which will reset the roll timer. If you don't already have it get Deadly Boss Mods and don't forget to also download the Cataclysm modules. Make sure you've got sound on too and you will hear a countdown to when he rolls.

Basic rules for a guaranteed kill (even on 25HC):

1. Don't fall off.
2. Don't stop moving except when forcing him to roll.
3. Don't die. I know you're a hunter so speccing into Spirit Bond will keep your healed up.

When I was talking to you on Battle.net the other day I was going to offer to help but I had already done it on all my characters for that reset. However, it's arguably harder with 2 people due to the roll mechanic. You either need to move together or stand on one side each which is easier said than done in practice.

Managed to do it. Found it a hell of a lot easier with 2 people rather than solo, we just swapped sides at the same time if the person who had the aggro on the remaining big dude changed over to go after blood puddles.

Once we got that done it was easy as pie.

Good to hear. Feel free to give me a shout if you need a hand with it in future. I can probably help out on my 95 blood DK if everything else is saved.

They're finally cracking down the the 'anal' spam.

I got the achievement [four play] yesterday morning and just couldn't help myself. Ended up with a warning about 20 minutes later.:o

I'm like 691 now but have a few pieces of my off spec which are 670 so if I can be bothered to upgrade those I'll probably be 692/3.

Not raided with it yet as we do Weds/Sun but will be good to see if it makes a difference.

The 5 ilvl buff really made a difference for us in BRF HC. We have cleared 9/10 for a few weeks now, but we only raid 3 hours on Thursday and 4 hours on a Sunday.

Usually it takes us 3 hours to clear everything except Blast Furnace. Last night we cleared 9/10 in just over 2 hours and had 45 mins or so on Blackhand. Everything went down 1st time, even Blast Furnace which has been an issue.
