***World of Warcraft : Warlords of Draenor***

Dependent on market...

I bought some gold for about £12. 50k as I was not about to drop a bunch of money for some teenager in a call centre to click a few buttons to move my character with all my money from my 'home' server which is now DEAD on the Horde side. It's insane. I was the only person in Oggy... Why don't they merge more servers? It's clearly needed.

Anyway, the 50k got me some more heirlooms, bags and a few bits and bobs for my char, my gf's char and my auction house char (always have one) and now I've got 25k sat for when I reach lv 90 and no doubt will spend it leveling up professions.

Don't waste your time and gold leveling professions, easy enough to get them maxed once you hit 100.

Is it worth resubbing for the PvP? Bit bored game wise as of late, remember having a fun time playing the PvP ages ago and streams make it look interesting

I'd love to be able to dip in and out of this again, but I get bored after two weeks. Stupid subscription model! I just want to pop back every now and then, solo the odd old raid, look at the new gear and get some fancy transmog stuff. :)

So I had a day off work yesterday. Determined to do some gaming.

My beloved retribution pally (same since 2004) was at level 99. So, I levelled to 100 and enjoyed every single moment of it.

Quite refreshing actually and im genuinely interested and excited in continuing with the legendary quest line with Khadgar.

Forgot how pretty the game can be too - yes its old but if you actually stop to look around, you will surprise yourself at some of the attention to detail and design.

Still not 100% convinced on the garrison front but I just spend my time mining all the ore I can, getting primals and converting into bars until I have enough to craft some decent gear.

Im only just into the level 100 realm and so my gear isn't good enough to raid yet but ill smash some more dungeons tonight.

Wow aint dead for me - im a 'pop in, pop out' sort of chap and I like it that way.

yeah, the leveling experience is fun, the 1st time through. The fun factor just evaporates when trying to level an alt though. The trouble is because questing so on rails now it removes any choice or illusion of choice from you. Because your told where to go and what to do now there are no surprises left in the game either.

I recently gave vanilla wow a go again and it just feels like a game that was created with care by people that loved the setting, new WoW just feels like a game created by people wanting their next pay check.

Oh and garrison can go suck Lucifer's **** in the pit.

I'm pretty much the same. I've tried quite a few times to "get back into it". But I just get bored very quickly and end up cancelling subscription after two weeks lol.

I used to raid quite hardcore throughout TBC, WoTLK and Cata. But I stopped playing after Cata was completed. I tried Mists and just did not like really like the direction of the game and was feeling a bit burned out by the end of Cata. I tried playing Mists again before Warlords and still I just could not get grabbed by it. Then I tried Warlords a few months ago and still just cant get into it again. I'm not sure if the "magic" has just been sapped out of the game for me or maybe I burned myself out by playing too much of it when it first came out (I've played since Vanilla).

Shame because I do still really like the lore to the game and still read up on whats happening in game. I just can't play it as much as I used to or get the enjoyment I once had with it.

Also, there's so much in the game now that you have to spend the first week of your playtime relearning talents, rotations, abilities, how PvP and tokens work, new quest hubs, new areas - all of that feels like admin to me and I often spend more time Googling stuff than I do playing! Especially when you have a set of classes.

I think if they relaxed the subscription model a huge amount of players would return and feel more secure - happily spending more in mount stores, and so on.

Guys I have hardly played WoW.
I bought the game couple of months back played till around level 15 and left for some strange reason haha.

Is it worth re-buying a subscription? Thanks!

It depends what you are looking for, as a new player there is still a lot of content that is new for you, once you hit 15 you are able to queue for dungeons so you can take a break from questing etc.

Honestly just sub for a month and see what you think, it comes down to whether you enjoy it or not.

Blizzard decided that Arms warriors were topping meters on too many fights due to 4p, so they have multi nerfed them so heavily they are now the lowest DPS spec in the game, typical Blizzard balancing lol :P

I've just got a Mage to 100, so I've got a druid, hunter and mage now. I still can't do feral or balance rotation properly on druid though so I never play it :(

Probably do a melee class next.

You can play up to level 20 free for as long as you like. Try out a few different classes and see yourself if you want more.

Just saw I had 7 day trial so fired this up, highest character is a level 80 so I imagine Wrath of The Lich King is when I stopped so long time ago now. Imagine everyone here plays on different servers and so on but thought about maybe giving Horde a go on a PvP server since all my characters are Alliance on PvE.

All my old characters are on Shadowsong PvE but to be fair since I wouldn't mind playing from scratch since never properly played Horde. Just need to know which server is good nowadays with a good social guild.

Just thought id pop my head back in, and ive been playing for almost a month now and ive got one of my chars to 100 and am busy getting some top pvp gear :D
I am having lots of fun, and ive heard it was better in the old days? I agree going through the dungeons over the levels (triple xp ftw!) the Vanilla and early xpacs were so much better, not even graphically, just more fun to just play...
If anyone is thinking of getting this game, i recommend it, the price put me off, but i have played a fair bit and would buy other games i wouldnt play anyways so i just stop that and buy wow subs, easy peasy.

Confirmed expansion announcement at Gamescom, first time an expansion has been announced outside of a Blizzcon, but they've got more games now I suppose.

Really looking forward to see what they come up with next. I hope it's a fresh new zone and not a rehash again.

With 11 classes currently in the game there must be a strong possibility that they'll add another in this next expansion to make it 12. There's been rumours of a Demon Hunter class which I quite like the sound of.
