This is not to say Garrisons wont be enhanced upon in the future, this is the first iteration, i can fully see guild garrisons coming in the future.

Subscription is extra as far as i know, buying the game is the expansion and a level 90 boost
You still get to quest in shadowmoon which i agree is a beautiful zone, your garrison as horde tho will always be in frostfire

No. The expansions never have.
Technically you do now because you can't directly buy any of the expansions from the website anymore, the base game now includes every expansion including MoP and comes with a free month of membership. Unless of course you want to buy them individually from other websites, but who the hell would do that?

The base game has always included 1 month, everything up to and including MoP is the base game, nothing has changed.

Took advantage of the 7 days free play time before the expansion... And whenever I load up WoW it crashes instantly (doesn't even get to the login screen)... Downloaded and re-installed twice and that has not fixed it...
How many times have you tried to open it? Mine crashes a lot when opening, but eventually it will open. Sometimes it takes 4+ tries to open it. It can also take a long time (seems like it's crashed) to change characters, but eventually it logs off properly and goes to the char select screen.
If the launcher crashes it's either:
- AV with some realtime scanning module running
- Caused by some third party firewall functionality (often comes with the above AV software)
- You have a malware installed pretending to be Shockwave Flash (Lightspark malware)
- You have a proxy set up. Hamachi is installed or perhaps even a malware backdoor.
If the game crashes:
- You're on a laptop and your Optimus drivers are broken.
- Your Intel drivers are old.
- Try unplugging any external USB devices. Then reboot.
- Your install has been placed in the wrong folders. Use C:\Users\Public NOT Program Files.
- Try editing your wow/wtf/config.wtf so the line SET playIntroMovie "6" exists.
- Update your video drivers and restore any settings to defaults.
- Change your language in the Launcher to French/German. Reboot your PC, run the launcher. It MAY fetch additional updates. Switch it back to English when done.
- Run the repair tool from the menu in the launcher.
If you have an issue simply starting a Blizzard game it's almost certainly something to do with your PC. They work quite hard to ensure their tat will run on a potato. Although if you're running Windows XP I think even Blizzard has rightly given up on you and expects you to upgrade.

Cool, just worried me they might sell same key twice but thinking about it I assume battle net would just reject the second time not ban the first?
I'm on a Mac...
It worked fine, changed no settings, then it has stopped working. Launcher works, click play, the screen goes black (i can see the mouse) and it returns to desktop with a blizzard error report (which I send off). From what I can tell, this isn't a problem just for me and should be updated in a patch - just sucks that I won't have the 7 day trial (its not a big deal, just would have been nice).
EDIT: What you said actually helped me... Got me thinking about video settings and realised it might because of my screen resolution (normally 2048x1280). Chaining it to 1440 x 900 has solved the problem and it now loads no problem.
