***World of Warcraft : Warlords of Draenor***

How are priests at the moment for soloing old content and being enjoyable to play for a casual player? I'm thinking of using my 90 boost to level a priest.
 
Its almost worth logging on a bit earlier and walking away, to either avoid queues or let it sit in one for you while you aren't there.

Ashes of Alar dropped for me the other day, third solo run through Tempest Keep that was! Still can't get Illidan to drop his shield for me though, I've been after that since Burning Crusade
 
Don't forget Europe is 1 hour ahead of us so I would imagine we will be able to go through the portal at 11.00 pm, that was the case for Mists.

Once you get to 100 it will be exactly the same as current live wow. Im not dissing this game its the only game i ever got into and like i said ive played from the start. Personally feel a big decline in the game since cataclysm.

A graphics overhaul was done during Cata... the difference between the 2 was quite big. More than just models have been updated this time around as well, a lot of spell animations have been redone and they have said they will be working on improving animations even further.

The ability removal has mostly been due to classes feeling bloated or due to pointless rotations, In some respects it has dumbed down a character in others it has totally made sense (Frost mages having fireball and fire mages having frost bolt made no sense) and the rogue was hardly touched at all.

The game is a far cry from what it was 10 years ago and if it keeps going for the next 10 id expect it to look and feel completely different again.
 
What people have to remember, the rotations have been eased off so they're easier, but the PvE content is much harder. I'd imagine it's more fun to go in and enjoy the content and concentrate on that, rather than your resource/actions bars all the time.

I know which I'd prefer, anyway.
 
Whats a good server for Horde ? The server I am on (Khadgar - EU) is quite dead. Was planning on transfering my char to another server but really not sure which one is any good.

I heard Draenor is a fairly good server ?
 
I am on Draenor and its a great server. Very busy, so I would expect queues in the evenings to log on when WoD hits.
 
I used to play Alliance Silvermoon until a few years ago. I used to really enjoy the game back in the Burning Crusade days but the more recent expansions have been crap. Things became especially lame when they decided to add Panda's.

With the money Blizzard earn they really have no excuse for coming up with such garbage lol or recycling and using the same content time and time again.

How much of mists did you actually play? It had quite a lot of depth to its backstory and was considerably better than cata. You criticize the new content, then complain about recycling other stuff. It does sound like you have rose tinted glasses glued to your face, maybe this game isn't for you anymore?
 
So I pre ordered this game ages ago and totally forgot, copy showed up a few days ago with the free 90 boost...Think I will use it on a horde server but I want one full of people and potentially some ocukers?

What realms would you suggest?
