Would you consider yourself "fit" ?

ive always been an active person all my life really, i used to play football, ride to school and i pretty much walk everywhere i go.

I did a 10k run last year with not that much training and i found it reasonably easy, i go to the gym regularly and id say my diet is pretty good now too. So yea id say im pretty fit ;)

I'm not really very fit, but I'm fit enough to do what I do if that makes sense.

;)

Does anyone here have regular fitness checks i.e. Blood pressure, Heart Rate and Cholestoral etc, Fat % etc.. it's worth doing just to keep you on your toes :)

I'm fitter than I used to be I think, but I can always tell that I haven't been to the gym for a while when I'm running for the bus, or am aching after a gym workout (like now).

I don't think I eat healthily, mainly because I like to eat what I like to eat :D but I am careful.

The ex wanted pizza every night at the weekend, but I started to put my foot down and cook for just me. Pizza (and fast food) used to be a novelty but was turning into normality.

And that is just not healthy!

I get an evaluation at the Gym every 6 weeks which measured everything apart from Cholestoral :)

I should probably get mine checked, was around 10% bf last time....think that might have gone up a bit.

Pretty fit but getting fitter. Run between 60-70k a week and cycle nearly 40 miles a day 3-4 days a week. Dont drink or smoke and dont eat meat apart form fish. Resting HR is about 43...

At 33 I am in better shape than i was when i was in my 20s. However, there is also room for improvement! :)

im starting to get there.

I play football for 3 different teams at the moment (2 5 a side and 1 7 a side), and am about to start doing sunday league soon. However im also starting to eat a really balanced diet, with plenty of fruit and veg, and have almost totally cut fizzy drinks out of my diet replacing it with water and fruit juices. Im also about to start cycling to work as of monday, which is 5 miles each way. I also dont drink at all, and nor do I smoke

I recon in about 6-9 months ill be pretty close to my realistic 'peak' fitness .. ill report back then :)

October - hardly any sports:

69.7 kg, 1.81 m, 21 yr old, bmi = 21.2 = ideal weight, fat index = 28.2% = almost poor (poor being 29.1%)

Now - gym once a week + basketball twice a week:

72.5 kg, 1.82 m, 22 yr old, bmi = 21.8 = ideal weight, fat index = 20 % = over average. (average = 20.8%)

So generally just about fit, but could improve. My aim is for a few more kgs, few more cms, up bmi by 1 or 2 and reduce fat to 16.9 % (good). Bit hard as I have a chronic illness, but it can be done.

i wish i could say yes, but im asthmatic and struggle a lot sometimes, but its not cos im big or anything im not skinny, but im certainly not overweight.

I've found that building up my fitness started killing off my asthma. It can be beaten. :D

not as severe as i sometimes have it mate, been on oxygen machines a lot, numerous attacks etc.

I would consider myself to be of average fitness for my age. I do however have problems with my bones, my knees crack/crunch like mad all the time and I get sore and stiff fingers that I have to crack not to mention the creeks from the rest of my bones. I'm sure this is not normal for a 19 year old and I really should do something about it.

A few years ago I used to be a rugby and athletics champ, could run for miles. Also used to have a stomach like a washboard... slim and defined, very toned.

Now i'm a white-skinned John Smith's swilling fiend with minor flab and I feel so unhealthy it makes me depressed.

Really need to exercise... :(

Just need some more muscle. Started going to gym 2 weeks ago. Does anyone here take Methandrostenelone?
