Not everyone uses the chat channel. It's mainly a relic from the pre guild days we could stay in touch. Keep looking out for people. Officers are

Keep trying, they are around .... obviously at this time of year people will be spending more time with family than on WoW. Zagoshi & Solthanius were both on today.
 
I can't remember who it was that invited me, but I am interested to know if you have got your Rocket mount?

I am interested because I brought a 60 day game card when I brought the game, and looking at the WoW site, this means you should have your rocket mount.
 
Without reading all of the thread guys, I'm considering comming back to WoW and I'd enjoy being in an OcUK guild. Is one set up yet? If so, what server?

Its set up, and its on Defias Brotherhood server which is an RPPvP server. Server is well balanced, not massively full of people ganking, not full of full time nerd rage RP'ers.. was a good choice, as much as I scoffed at it when I first read where they had landed.

I've not joined myself as the Christmas period is always a nightmare for me and I've got to obtain a new account, but I've heard good things.

Hello all,

I have recently started playing WOW and am currently soloing my way through as a Hunter (about level 41) however I would be interested in experiencing some of the guild side of things. Is there any room for a newbie in the OCUK guild and if so are you short of specific roles?

As the game is new to me I have no problem playing as anything if needed. Also is it a question of getting my char up to level 80 or so and then joining up with you guys or can I join from the off?

We are still recruiting afaik, when you next login type /join ocuk and that will put you into our chat channel, from their you can ask for an invite.(Presuming you are Horde on Defias Brotherhood)

We have plenty of people ranging levels and you should find people around your level.

RP'ing is not mandatory for the server, infact I know of no-one in the guild who does RP. Hell if you are Bovril you can even go gank some RP'ers and when they complain about you interfering with their RP say "I am on a mission from Garrosh to destroy all the alliance in this area" :D :p :D made me chuckle!

We went RP because it is, generally, a much more mature environment than normal servers. Seems to be less morons. Get yourself across.

Aye, does not seem to be the usual "/2 anal [mutilate] ROFLCOPTER" spam that plagues every other server in the EU.
I've seen one attempt at it, and the guy promptly left when nobody joined in his little game
 
Hi all,

Just got a trial off MonkeyMatt from ocuk. I'm out of sync with wow i had it on the day of relese and quit before the 1st expantion. I'm a very cashual player & don't tend to level fast saying that i never have anyone to level with with other mmo's.

no idea what char i want to be either
 
Just get yourself over to DfB server and come on board. Though with a trial account you cant join a guild, you will have to wait if you decide on a full upgrade before we can get you in :)
 
Oh I didnt realise you didnt have the game :p

Its about £20 perhaps £25 for game plus all expansion up until Wrath which, if you are a slow leveller as you say, should see you good for a month if not more depending on your speed. Then you are looking at £25 or so for new Cata expansion.
