WOW Cata re-roller guild interest

Will try and get back on in the next couple of days guys n dolls.

Had a tough time at Christmas so I've not been online too much.
 
The christmas period has been huge for a lot of people, the numbers are slowly trickling back in.

Good to see you back in the fray. :)

Prot is a really viable way of lvling now. Good damage output, survivability is great, AoE without being squishy and to top it off insta queues for dungeons.

Prot is the way to go imo.

ahh ok, instant queues sort of pulled me towards prot, plus ive never played a tank before, cant wait to get playing again
 
I need to do a quest called Enemies Below (Thunder Bluff)

Go speak with Stone Guard Kurjack just inside the Chasm. Help him in any way you can, for our fates are intertwined.

But have no idea how to get to Kurjack

If I rememeber correctly (and im not sure I do) theres a path down the side of one of the pillars. Anyway, just google the quest or go straight to wowhead and you should get all the info you need.
 
ah right i shall take a look are there any guides about? a tad confused where to go from
Orgrimmar or do i do the quests at Orgrimmar?

The NPC you are looking for is inside Ragefire Chasm [Orgrimmar], just inside.

Level 12 still i was sent to Orgrimmar but do i do the quests at Orgrimmar? or go somewhere else?

I'm just at the back gate of Orgrimmar doing quests there in a Shredder which is fun :D

Mp4 you using addons? The questing addons make your journey through the levels so much easier! Although the first time I would say do it manually if you have the patience.

I have no addons.

I've searched for wow guides on google but it comes up with a random few mainly one called Zygor?

Zygor is a very good addon but it will cost you a small fee. The game is very streamlined and user friendly now so you shouldn't have a problem levelling smoothly. :)

Even if the game is streamlined i still get lost on where/what to do next im like this with most mmo's i play ..lol

I dont know if i trust Zygor in some comments sections on other sites some people say their account was hacked because of the addon. But zygor says that its impossible

Just hopped back onto Defias after a (long) bit of Christmas slacking on my part to see that I was removed - which is fair enough! Was nice to have a mail explaining why and very glad to see you've finalised some guild rules.
Annnnywho.... would be very interested in rejoining now the initial Cata rush has worn off. Any particular classes that you're in need of? Could just transfer my 85 rogue (and proibably will given the heirlooms and gold to be honest!) but more than happy to fill a tank/healer slot if needed.

I sent the mail as a lot of the earlier members (like yourself) will not have seen the guild rules so i didn't want to just remove you and leave you hanging.

just whisper any for an invite and good to have you back on board. Re classes play whatever you fancy. Though as usual tanks and healers are always in high demand :)

i think youre safe with a legitimate copy of zygor. there was a lot of hoo ha about how it was going to use the pointer mechanism from a free version way back when, thereby making it a paid app, but they seem to have developed their own. in any event you will improve levelling through quests 100% using it. there are othe ways to level and you dont get the exploration element you get wandering around but its also a lot faster. anyway its safe.

addons are also a matter of choice, personally i dont have any element of the blizz ui unchanged! check out the forum for the more popular ones. wowinterface and curse are the two most popular sites for getting addons, but you probably want to get a good idea of the vanilla interface so you know what youre improving!

Lvl 61 Hunter
Lvl 42 Warlock
Lvl 20 Druid

Horde

Lvl 10 Warrior
Starting a Blood Elf - Unsure of Class.

Can i join with you lot please?

we are horde side but yeah of course. Just contact an officer in game.
