That is the biggest issue with points. Microsoft wholesales them for about what they retail at. Then you have to add on advertising fees and paypal fees the actual cost to sell them goes beyond what the stores retail them at.

I'm not sure if points are so expensive because Microsoft keeps all the profit or if they are paying allot for third party content that is typically purchased with points.

I tried to get them posted at the low end of the price range for the online code emailed sites. But I honestly think you will always be able to pick up the points at the local store for less, at least that is the way it has been for the last few years.

Wow. Well, I haven't been keeping up with this thread, but I'd like to thank Jasper for his input. I can confirm once again that I ordered my card from the site and my code is 100% perfect, and I had a great service. I have also added a few lines into my original post to say that there is nothing but good service if you order from there, so hopefully any confusion that my original post might cause will be removed.

Thanks again Jasper :)

Just purchased a 12 + 1 card from Jasper last night & received the code 20 Mins after I made the buy.

Just entered the code now & it was accepted without hitch, no problems at all.

I know he’s a tad more expensive for the points cards but I just bout a 2100 card from him now. The convenience of getting it online & the fact that he is trustworthy is worth it.

I highly recommend Jasper to anyone thinking of purchasing a subscription online.

₤ 30.99 is not really that impressive if you ask me it's available for £32 from established well known etailers lately

I just wanted to post a link to the video I promised of me openning cards. I hope this forever puts to rest any questions of where the codes come from, you will see the cards come to me in sealed boxes.

Thanks a lot jasper for your interesting and useful posts. Just want to say thanks for your excellent service when i bought mine :).

Just had my order cancelled, apparently due to thefts on the site. I made a spelling mistake on the orginal order when putting in the card details in and I thought that was why it was cancelled. Placed the order again just now but read on his forum he's having problems with Paypal and other things and isn't taking any new orders.

Typical :/
