X-Factor 2011

The fat girl at the end was indeed a good singer. But, what is with all the tears?
Crying over a good karaoke performance is just ridiculous...or perhaps I am missing something.

A cry worthy moment would be if somebody gave all their competition winnings away for a good cause. But to cry when somebody sings well, in a competition which is fuelled by greed, fame and fortune, just doesn't make sense.

lol at you lot...

She sang the song pretty much pitch perfect.

She sang all of the impressive notes of the original in much safer keys, she was good, but not amazing like the judges were scripted to respond as she was.

The overblown theatrics do nothing but undermine her performance.

Ps. do these people bawl every time they actually hear Adele's infinitely superior version?

The end singer on Australian X-Factor 301 actually had me crying.
He was a 17 year old Iraqi who had been found in a box with blown off legs, one blown off arm and the other arm in a real mess.
An Australian woman had taken him and another lad back to Australia for operations when they were about 4 but ended up adopting them.
His song was Imagine by John Lennon with very poignant lyrics and he sang it brilliantly.
The Aussies do sad so much better.

On 304 at the end a bloke came on and sang an INXS song with real grovel and it ended up being a woman
