What's the issue with actually referring to it by its correct terminology rather than the emotionally charged title of "theft"?
It doesn't change what is happening just because you insist on it being called theft, the very same actions are taking place.

Why not answer the questions I asked? If you view something on youtube that someone has uploaded without permission from the copyright holder, is it stealing?

Why SHOULD anyone upload something to youtube without someone elses permission?
I know for sure the first thing that would cross my mind when uploading ANYTHING there would be "Is it mine to upload and would anyone be offended?"

What am I looking at? Got some actual figures saying those people who pirated those games would have bought them new? Bet loads of them were pirated well after release, so it's likely they would have been bought second hand... And as stated the pubs and devs see none of that money.

Why would anyone go to the effort of downloading 5GB of a game, burn it onto DVD / Hack their Xbox, if they didn't want to play the game.
If they've gone to all that effort, it's pretty clear they're doing it because they want it but don't want to pay for it.
Anyone doing it knows it's wrong, and it's actually disgusting that people can actually sit there defending it.
