None of those should play a part right now on your decision, if you are as passionate about GAMING as you claim to be, then games is all you should care about, nothing else. Not its spec, not the looks, not other extra features, not even its name.

What you should be doing, instead of moaning about how ugly it is, is to wait until it is launched, see what games are out and decide which one to buy.

If the PS4 does give significant improvement in visuals and frame rate for the same game.

Buy the PS4.

If the Xbox offers more exclusive titles that you are after.

Buy the Xbox.

Gamers care about games.

I agree with everything but the Neo Geo not having great games :p. The price killed the Neo Geo, not the games!

Hardcore gamers love to **** and moan about everything. ;)

That must be what makes them 'hardcore'.
 
To be honest if the Xbox One will be over £300 im tempted to just upgrade my GTX460 graphics card and game on the PC.

Only let down is I won't be able to play Forza 5 :(

I was going to edit my comment elsewhere but yeah, free additional AA could be an easy way for Sony to utilise any additional performance, better than my idea of having different LODs, which obviously relies on developers...

I wasn't moaning about how ugly it was, I was just surprised that despite spending what I would imagine was a considerable amount of money designing the look of it, that it ended up looking like that!

The first bite is with the eye.......eurgh!
 
I imagine 99.99% of the thousands who watched the reveal video thought the exact same thing at the same time.

The minute we all saw the new xbox....everyone went......

One thing I did notice on the controller was the the guide button has moved to the top of the controller out of thumbs reach - I guess another sign that voice control is now the preferred method of getting in to the base functions.

Also, it appears the triggers have individual rumble controllers.

Yay! No battery hump on the back.

silver would have been nice in this new one

it doesn't look very customisable like the 360 with different facias etc

reminds me of a hoooge sky box or something.
it looks like a 'jack of all, master of none' box, not distinct for any one purpose

Thats why I'll buy both. Xbox has Forza 5, PS4 has Driveclub...that me happy :D
