Which reminds me, well, your sig does, has there been any sniff of GTAV on next gen? I saw some posts and a screen of a XO box version a while back but it's been silent ever since. I know GTAV is a current gen game but given it's success I can't see them missing the opty for a PS4/Xo release?

There's a few games I wish they'd reconsider for next gen, Dark Souls II and Ultra Street Fighter IV being at the top of my list.

Craterloads, I've had a chuckle trolling you because it was just getting a bit silly given the thread this is. The stream of anti XO posts in this thread over it's history gets a little tedious after a while even when there's good news so you got the wrong end of my mischief. Hope you won't take it personally and accept my apology for giving you a hard time. I'll behave now before Davey sends me off to stand in the corner and think about what I've done.

Same here, it has been amusing playing this little game of who can troll the other most, ultimately that's all I see it as and nothing personal as quite frankly your just not a very good troll

For the record, I'll be getting both but for the time being it'll be XO simply because of the pleasure I've had with the 360 and the ability to play with friends without jumping through hoops!

Agreed had both xbox360 and ps3 and xbox live is way ahead of psn for online gaming.
Getting XO and PS4 so im not a fanboy.

Even if the XO runs slightly worse than the PS4 if sony doesn't nail the PSN i will be spending most of my time with XO again and playing 1st party titles on the PS4

Sony really do need to nail PSN this time. I still think XBL will have a lead, but that the PSN will be much closer this gen.

BF4 could be giving 200fps and it wouldn't matter a jot if its also 200ms ping in lobbies.

PSN+ looks to have come on a long way this gen, having said that the question still unanswered for me is around dedicated servers for MP on either platform.

To be honest neither of them really look that great. Its not a great leap from the last gen. Neither of them look as good as a decent specced pc. Its not what I expected from next gen. It looks like we've already reached the pinnacle of graphics.

AGAIN!! They will never look as good as a decent specced PC! :rolleyes:

It's like buying a Focus ST, upgrading the turbo and suspension and stating "well, it will never be as fast as a Ferrari". What is promising is, the only way is up, and in the next few years we should see much better games and much better graphics from what is really a pair of good value gaming consoles.

sheesh reading todays stuff.......since when has 8gb of ddr3 held back most pc games looking way better than any console game gddr5 or not? I'll be on ddr3 on my pc for a couple more years and it's a damn site better than any console

If your PC was running with only DDR3 for everything you can be sure performance would be horrible, the reason PC's aren't bottlenecked by DDR3 is because video cards have 2-6GB of super fast GDDR5.
