**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

Like I mentioned earlier for sound on the One you need something with a digital input. I'll be gaming on a monitor. My speakers only have RCA inputs, so I wanted something that could convert the digital signal to analogue?
well then ill stick my neck out and say yes can't see why it wouldn't all your doing is going from digital to analogue so id be very surprised if you could not do it that way. if you aint got a DAC already you pick up a cheap one to try it I've seen them for 20 ish

TBH make a new thread as I suspect quite a few people are gonna consider workarounds with the new consoles aswell as new equipment like headsets and the like.

I swear theres someone else who has been having the same concerns as you too - not sure what they did outside looking for DACs, but whats good I wouldnt know...

ps3ud0

sony have confirmed that the ps4 does support analogue output and one way to do this is use the aux port on the rear of the ps4 which i believe is also used for the ps eye

anyhow back on to this xbox thread ha ha microsoft have done this a few times with some of there other products in the past yeah? sure they did for surface ?

Ok here is my thoughts

Fifa 14:

Same as Fifa 13 with a lick of paint. This new ignition or ignite whatever BS they called it is just a blur and inside the hood its the same engine used on the current gen version of fifa 14 with a lick of paint

Dead Rising 3:

Looked liked an average Current gen game but that is because you now have over 100 npc's all in one screen and maintains what looks like 60fps. never slowed down no matter how hard i tried to cause mayhem onscreen

Forza 5:

Excellent game, great graphics, smooth 60fps and lovely Heptic feedback on the control Pad!

Control Pad:
Feels a bit smaller then the 360 and a bit lighter. The Dpad is much smoother and feels better then the 360. The analogue sticks have more grip in them and the triggers are less springy and more smoother.

The triggers themselves have heptic feedback and let me tell you this. It makes driving games more immersive!

BF4:

Looks great! Around medium settings on how a PC version looks like but plays super smooth! You will be impressed at it. very good and finally console users can play BF as its intended.

Console:

Its HUGE! Larger then the original first Xbox. It is dead quiet though, couldn't hear the fans but one side of the machine was pretty warm. When laid flat, it gets warm on the right hand side at the top of the console.

The framerate stability is great to hear, as that was the only thing I was worried about when I first saw it. I knew they'd been working on it and I'd heard it was stable, but always good to hear that from someone on here who's played it.

I think it's a stable 30FPS though, unless they've managed to up it in the last few months.

38 with a 28 year old wife, beat you,

I'm loving PC gaming right now but I cant wait to get back in the living room, my biggest challenge is going to be keeping the wife off BF4 on the Xbox One, but at least I can retreat to the PC.

She also says I have ot get the fitness game and make an effort...... Wifes who know gaming, its got its ups and downs.

Anyone planning on selling their FIFA from the day one editions? I'm locked in with my bundle so can't change, just can imagine loads going up for sale! With the comments made about the game, we may as just playing the previous years offerings?

Can't believe its out this month! :D
