I'll be making space before it arrives. My Blu-Ray player will be moved up to the bedroom, and I'm still undecided whether I want to keep my 360 downstairs, or move it up into my computer room (where my 2nd 360 already is). I've got room for both under the TV, but as I hope to have a PS4 before Christmas, it'll be very crowded under there!

Tell him to do one. It is none of his business what you do with your time off. All they need to know is that you want the time off work. What you do with it is none of their concern.

What does it have to do with Sony though? The developers are responsible for getting the game running at an acceptable level, unless Sony categorically forced them to have the game render at 1920x1080 native regardless of performance impact.

Where did I say that? The devs themselves have said that they've been rushing development and have been short on time, it's not really going to be a surprise if the game doesn't meet expectations on either platform.

If people are expecting the games and the consoles to be perfect on day one, they're in for a mighty shock.

I think everybody should just agree that Infinity Ward did a crap job with this game.

Given that the reviewers have said the 720p PS3 and Xbox 360 versions don't have the frame rate drop problems PS4 has I'd be surprised if the XO has more performance problems than PS4 despite being 720p rather than 1080p... The quoted tweet doesn't even mention XO, it just says "720p game"... Wishful thinking? Didn't take long for the resident PS4 defence team to turn up in the Xo thread again though did it. :rolleyes::D:o

To be honest I doubt any of the launch titles for either console are going to be particularly representative of the gameplay experience we have in a years time, it's that bleeding edge premium we pay for a new shiny gadget addiction :)

Indeed, it'll be nice to get back to being able to judge a console on it's titles and game play (gasp, horror, shock! :) ) rather than theoretic pixel counts and rumours/leaks from people driving headlines or with a vested interest in marketing a particular view.
 
I'm seriously tempted to create a thread just for people to moan, bitch and argue about the power differences between the two consoles. I'd love for the Xbox One and PS4 threads to just be discussions about the games and features on those consoles, rather than the whole "oh this game runs at 720p/900p" rubbish I'm seeing all the time.

Is it only me that's bored of seeing it everywhere?

I remember saying the same about the 360 and PS3. I personally think you should do it and suspend anyone that trashes a the other threads, about the POWERZ!

I'd not thought this through - what do I do with my old Xbox? Does it go somewhere else get sold... Hmm...

Think i'll use it as a thinly veiled excuse to clear out under the TV, re run the wiring and even go mad and cable tie it up so it looks less of a rats nest. Quite looking forward to it now it's quite close - seems only yesterday we were looking at the PS4 and XO reveals.
