Just had to turn the ref hearing off on FIFA. It thinks me asking for a coffee was me telling him to "**** off." Most other times it got it right though ;)
 
Wow it is so confusing to play a game with a friend, how the hell do you join a session in progress? (I.e I see my friend is online playing BF nothing can be found in the BF menu neither on his profile to join him..)
 
I have had a real battle fighting the shiney new thing syndrome this week. My intention was never to get one day one because only one game interests me. I still nearly got sucked in though. I have gone from having no interest in kinect to seeing it's almost essential to get through the UI.

I'm glad there's no stock as it will stop my weakness until after christmas and I can remember I still have Tomb Raider and AC3 to play and finish :)

I will definitely get one but it's a bit stupid for me to get one right now for £429 plus 1 game.
 
I can't see how the £400 price tag can be justified for the current offering of games, anyone feeling a bit robbed?

I think this is the only generation that hasn't got me truely excited.

I am feeling the opposite, I am sat here reading this thread regretting I never ordered an Xbox One. Nowhere near me has any If I wanted one without ordering I would have to have driven 60 mile to check god know how many stores and supermarkets and then I still would be hard stretched to find one.

I phoned a few stores and they sold out of there launch day consoles at 2am on the 22nd.
 
Anyone else having trouble with "Xbox On"?

It has worked once for me and is very frustrating, all the other speech stuff works and it turns off every time lol.

I have everything enabled in settings for instant on etc. If I press the button on the front its great, my TV, sound bar and xbox all fire up.

Check your local game tomorrow, I think uncollected preorders are available tomorrow.
 
Anyone else with VERY slow updates? Mine was fine but a friend has been downloading the ghosts update and she is averageing 1% in half an hour. Her interweb isn't great but not that bad!
 
this is the 1st time in any console launch that i've not gone and got it at launch. I've had them all in the past but this time due to them being within a week of each other it had to be PS4 simply because i have a psvita to go with it and prefer the Playstation exclusive's more and their indy game support. Also i feel after the big noise of PS4 launch in USA last week that there isn't much hype or noise concerning the just released Xbox1 here in UK, maybe it's just me it seems all i'm hearing is bad quality controller complants and dvd drive failures. Anyway i will get one in the end i know i will just not feeling the Xbox1 love this time round.
 
i got xbox one and my first xbox so far overall quite happy with it - bit disappointed with DR3 but fifa 14 is really good need to get more games. tho i'm getting getting a ps4 friday as well
