The price is for the console not the launch lineup, I don't mind paying (although ATM I'm only getting a ps4) as for 6-8 years as a main machine its a good price...especially when you compare to what you pay for phones/tablets these days which normally have a 2 year life span max.

Very.

My own fault. I was originally waiting till next year and was going to grab a PS4 and had no intention of buying a Xbox One.

Now i have started playing the Xbox 360 i have really enjoyed playing online and chatting to new people. Never did anything like that on the PS3. So i ordered the Xbox One at the last minute, so i gotta wait for mine :(
 
Have to say I'm a huge PC gamer but I got a day one Xbox one and I love it. Nice and snappy even though its a mech drive and dead rising is really nice. Graphics are not up to my 780/1400p set up but the number of different looking zombies on screen at once is impressive. Even kinect is super responsive and shouting at zombies to lure them to you is a nice touch.
 
Not sure if this has been covered already, but can you change region to US (or any other region), buy a game, change back to UK, and play any games you've purchased regardless of region?

All the games on the US store are $60 which converts to about £37, so a nice little saving on the UK prices..

I have everything enabled in settings for instant on etc. If I press the button on the front its great, my TV, sound bar and xbox all fire up.

I'm having the same problem. Switches off ok tho.

I was under the impression they made it region free.

Went into GAME today and their prices are ridiculous....everything is £55 or above. Told the assistant even the MS store is cheaper and she said the RRP is £60 so it wasnt too bad.

Needless to say I bought Xbox credit instead, would rather buy digital now.

Just need to decide how to blow my £100 ;)
 
Agreed, I mentioned that a few pages ago, I took back a game online purchase and it was 5quid more in the store to exchange for another game.

So I took xbox credits instead.
