Has anyone successfully switched gamertag to a new email address? the instructions on the XBOX website are for an XBOX 360 and I cannot find where I do it using the web.
 
Well my Kinect seems to be dead. Haven't touched the console since Friday, turned it on today and now I see a "Kinect is unplugged" message and it doesn't even try to power up. Done all the usual unplugging, rebooting etc but it's dead. Wonderful. Looks like I'll have to get a replacement somehow.

you cant just replace the kinect they will make you change your console aswell
 
Last time I'll ask, promise.

Does anyone else use the fully off power mode? If you do does your console turn on after pressing the front button.

Unrelated but ... I have seen some energy saving lightbulbs that interfere with IR controls. Not saying that's what's happening here, obviously its the kinect, its new to your room, just that IR can be weird sometimes.
 
Just saw this on HUKD if anyones interested, apparantly Asda will be selling off pre-orders that haven't been claimed tomorrow morning in all stores. This includes Day One editions, not just the regular console.
 
Well as you know I'm not getting xbone due to circumstances out of my control but I still went to a tour event, in honesty I came away abit flat the pad is improved but the rumble felt off, forza was just boring looks nice but that's it also loading times were a tad poor. Dead rising 3 looked sweet and I saw no slow down etc that people report, I'd of had ago but no one would come off the consol so had to watch. I still plan on getting one eventually but I'm glad it's ps4 for me first. Killer instinct was actually good easy pick up and play fighter and looked very good

Awesome. Well I just hope they'll ship me a replacement first before I ship the faulty box back. Knowing my luck, probably not and I'll be without it for a while.
 
Who did you buy it from Phemo? Id be tempted to try and get in touch with them before MS, just because you might get a quicker replacement

Just realised if you change the xbox one to usa then buy a game for $59 then change it back to UK where all the games are £54.99 you end up paying just £36.96 each lol and it thinks you own the UK copy of the games woo thanks American money weaknesses! I've just bought need for speed £36.96 wahoo seeing as it bugs out and crashes on my pc when I tried it plus changing to 60fps messes up the pc copy massively so I reckon console is the way to go with this one.

I am going to try my local Asda in the morning. I have done an order online and if they have one I will be there for them opening. In addition to this I will be checking Game to see if they had all there orders picked up.
 
I was thinking of trying shops in Milton Keynes tomorrow, about 25 miles away, but I've decided to wait till I get my Fifa bundle on the 13th December. I really cba to drive around on the off chance.
