If it turns out ghosts is indeed 720p on XO I'm done.
Yes it could be time constraints with not knowing the hardware and it will be fine after the launch across current gen and next gen and they make a game flr ps4/xo only but I will get an XO once that's solved
Also ask yourself considering the activision/MS partnership why are the squads video on ps4??

It wasn't, the buttons are clearly Xbox buttons.
Tbh I wouldnt cancel my order on Ghosts being 720...its not like COD have ever been at the cutting edge of technology...the videos I've watched hardly look different to what i'd expect on the current gen.

Surely that should be the reason it should be 1080p?
Also fairly confirmed its 720p by cboat on neogaf.

ryse looks like a game that would be a tenner after a month had it not been next gen. looks lovely but gameplay looks awful
Why does this bother people so much? The next gen isnt going to be a massive graphics increase its going to be all the little details improved e.g. ai,lighting,shadows,partical effects etc.
Launch games never use full potential anyway.
The trailers we have seen for Titanfall look epic so again i dont see it as an issue. They may be TRUE 720P which current gen consols dont do also there always abit under

I think the issue is that 1080p was expected to be the standard for next gen, and quite rightly so. Afterall 1080p TV's are now the standard. Also the fact PS4 seems to be pulling it off quite well is just making people notice just how underpowered XB1 is.
Why does it bother people? Let me think about that, the fact I am spending £430 on something that should be capable of pushing out Ghosts at 1080p (when the PS4 can do it).
It's a worrying precedent to a start of a new generation, one that makes me think twice about blindly dropping that amount of money on something.
I'm not saying I will never get one and it's doomed to fail, but it makes me cautious to buy it at launch knowing these things could be true.

No chance I'm going to order now, 720p is a disgrace in 2013/14

Sorry disagree if rumours are true PS4 dev kits and tools were ready and more user friendly before XO1 were. Multi platform games are on a deadline so maybe they had to make cuts to get it out and same time.
Im sure if Forza is running at 1080p then Ghosts could just maybe activision are being lazy. Its all too early to tell.
Id say expecting this gen to ALL be 1080p is daft, Like people who thought current gen should have been 720p it just isnt always do able. Plenty of games werent and looked stunning
Ill be honest ill still get COD on XO (Getting a PS4 too)the little difference isnt enough to change my mind the only time it could be an issue is a year or so down the line when devs know more then if its still behind we will know why
