Do the retailers normally do game bundles on the launch consoles ?
or is it a case of buying the console you want and games seperately at full price ?

I know when they launched the One S they did bundles but that was a refresh console rather than a brand new platform

Pretty cool reading about all those BC tricks. I wonder what games will be getting the select treatment and having frame rates doubled.

Series S really does seem a capable little beast. BC doubling of framerates and increasing resolution to 1440p with some other tricks is pretty amazing. Not to mention OG xbox games running at 3x the resolution. Its a lot better than some people were thinking.

Doesn't that happen automatically with a resolution increase? Textures become sharper because there are more pixels drawn?

No - not really otherwise you wouldn't get 4k texture packs for games etc

Geometric mathematical shapes yes as they are mathematically generated but textures I think not ?

Personally I think the Series X is the bargain and I'm considering getting one then trading my One X for it when it comes out

That's right. Textures dealt with separately and often huge file sizes for 4k.

Wouldn't be surprised to see around £100 at Game and CEX.

I reckon 150 as maybe will be hard to get hold of new gen consoles at the time

I got £220 at game for my xb1x the other day, thought I'd get it in now before the value drops, well worth it considering the series s will be £250, now i have time to finish some switch games until the series x is out

I was thinking about it but I don't see how you fit it on to a sheet of A4 paper to maintain the correct size? Am I missing something?

I just checked the game app, now you'd get £196 trade in, I expect it to drop further closer to release date
