Jeez, that's really good. I actually bought one a couple of weeks ago from Amazon for £200 with a game. It said officially refurbished, but it came in a sealed original box, so I guess Microsoft are clearing out stock. If I didn't need the disc drive, I'd have considered the S, but this gen I'm changing over to all disc based games.
 
Series X for me Tuesday.

I'm just hoping for improvements to the game DVR on Xbox it's way behind the PlayStation game recording.

I'll trade in my One X and PS4 Pro but probably very close to launch I can't be with a console until November 10th

That’s the issue I’m having right now, if I trade my Xbox one x now at game I’ll get close to £200 for it but if I leave it to launch date I know the trade on value will tank.
I’m still playing through a few games but very rarely I play them so am contemplating on just trading my Xbox one x and just wait to game when I get my series x.
 
Decided to return the One X and will try to pre-order a Series S instead. Shame it won't have the better texture packs that the One X uses but I just find it slow to start up and load games that the SSD in the new console has sold me. It's still a great console but only bought it thinking the new gen would be a lot more expensive.

Still have the PC and PS4 to tide me over.

Slow to start up? Are you using the instant on mode?
 
Cashed in my reward points on Saturday morning and now have £235 of free MS credit for my XSX pre-order :D

I've just made a set of links to the product page on a range of sites. For MS, the page to buy from is the Series X page (top option in their Xbox section) and whilst it currently states 'coming soon,' it'll change to Buy for £449.99 on the day.

Around 2 1/2 years. My lifetime reward points have been just under 280,000 but I spent around 30,000 in that time. I've not really bought too much but probably ~15,000 points were earned from purchases. All the rest were from the free collections/game pass rewards.
 
I still have a OG Xbox One Elite (the model with a 1TB hybrid drive) which is currently at my girlfriend's so she can play her games on it. I was considering getting a One X as used prices have already dropped considerably since the SS/SX announcement as I'm old fashioned and prefer disc based games.

But thinking about it more, the Series S would be a better system for me. Not only is it more powerful than the One X but I don't own a 4K TV so the S should be perfect with game pass use. And if I want to play a disc based game I'll do that at the GF's place. I may even do away with the graphics card upgrade I had planned for the new year too...
 
I hope the xbox series x pre order launch isn’t going to be like the Nvidia 3080 launch lol can’t be doing with missing out on both within 2 weeks!

Tbh looking forward to getting the xbox series x it’s very good for the money the specs

I'm very excited tbh, I'm really looking forward to the new Forza, Halo, Fable and flight simulator.
Xbox games pass is such great value and the one major advantage over what Sony has to offer, with ps5 games looking like £70 a pop don't be surprised to see loyal Sony fans jumping ship, especially with ea now on board Fifa will be a massive pull.
The only game I've bought in the last year apart from switch games is rdr2, the rest of the time everything else has been from games pass
 
So guys overall whats the best deal here
Buy the xbox outright and get all access?
Or get the 24 months finance with all access included ?
 
It has been worked out, but I believe there is very little to be saved if you're buying on the All Access program. So it's just the choice of upfront and adding game pass or monthly for console+pass for 24 months. So it just depends on how you want to pay for it :)

Might just go for purchasing outright then, saves running the risk of having to enter all the extra finance details and missing out.
