The crashing in control is getting beyond a joke now. It stutters a bit then back to desktop or frozen game. It’s got worse the further into the game I have gone....

Quick google suggests lots are having the same issue. Another release that obviously skipped the quality control stage. It’s getting far to normal this gen already.....

Not had a single crash. It’s bizarre how consolidated hardware/software can lead to such variability.

Just completely powered the console off. No idea what’s going on other games work fine with no issues and reports online of the same thing happening......

Think I will try it in performance mode see if that stops it.

Put it into performance mode and it has not crashed at all so far. Must be the Ray tracing that’s killing it...lol.. ???

Damn, it's a good job I bought the Series S when I did. My cashed MS reward points were due to expire this week and still no decent chance of getting a Series X. I've been using it about six weeks now and Quick Resume is by far the best feature to come along yet. It's weird going back to play on my PS4 and having to load each game from scratch!

Curious why you'd buy the Xbox ontop of that pc upgrade? Seems like you just wasted money because your pc would be way more capable. Id understand if your pc was ancient and you didn't want to pay pc upgrade prices. But you already have.
Yes, what I meant was with the cost of building a decent gaming PC ie £599-6800/£280-5600X/£200+motherboard etc over £1000 for three components and that is the lower end cost. This Xbox Series S is amazing value for £249.99 when you consider all the things you can do with it. The Pc i just put together could be my last unless prices return to more sensible levels.

Anyone else been having issues with party chat the last couple of weeks? We keep having issues with people’s voices cutting out all the time, and it’s happening to everyone in the party. Quite annoying.

I've had intermittent issues where it's like a bad mobile phone signal, but we seemed to sort it by someone different in the party starting a new chat and reinviting everybody.

I'm not sure if party chat is hosted by the the person who initiates the party though? It seemed like it happened whenever a certain person "hosted" the chat, so we put it down to their bad connection

It used to be peer to peer but I think they have moved it server side now. It doesn’t seem to matter who is hosting the party for us.

It does sound like a bad mobile reception like you described.

Yeh. Seems to be between 6-7pm. New party fixes it most the time

From where? Ordered one from shopto on Friday. I think another week or 2 before I hear anything.

My launch one was AO, my 2nd is Very. I would never use shopto or Game for anything, don't even look at those sites. Ao, very and currys is all I use. I got 7 ps5s using those. Not to sell , but me and my 2 boys have a ps5 each. My partners two sons have one each and my nephew has one. The 7th was a spare in case one never turned up, I just returned it to currys for a refund.
