Tbh using a controller I don't find 60-120 as big an improvement as 30-60. Like I tried it with BL3 but wasn't a huuuuge difference but I know using mouse and keyboard it would be.

He'll also need a TV too. It'll be for his room and I don't want to be paying mega bucks. Prob 32inch. Is there anything I need to look out for in terms of input latency? Or is this nothing to be concerned about with most modern TVs.

Did you deffo enable Dolby vision for games? It's a separate option now. I made this mistake as I knew I had normal Dolby vision enabled from the Xbox before.
Also of you had the game on quick resume you may need to quit it and reopen.
Yes just double checked it now and it's enabled but still not switching to DV it just stays in HDR10.
Turn your 120hz off. Just enabled it and FS now didn't start with DV.
I've downloaded the Horizon 4 and it's quite fun, I'll wait for 5, but I don't plan on getting Gold or gamepass, will I still be able to enjoy it?Play Forza Horizon 4 until 5 comes out in November.
Doubt you will get close to "completing" it before 5 arrives but be prepared for it to consume the chances of another game getting a look in.
Got the X for flight simulator and have a PS5 for everything else
Input latency is still a big problem, ranging from 10ms to 250ms. Only Samsung seem to universally have good input latency across their whole range.

Any monitors support Dolby Vision as an alternative to poor HDR in monitors at all?
Not looked but I highly doubt it. I think DV may be almost an extension of HDR10 so if a monitor can't do that I think by default DV is out.
I may be talking out my ass.
There is only one that i am aware of at it cost nearly £4000

Honestly i could not see a difference
we really need games made natively in DV to see a real difference.Just use telegram and join a stockinformer channel. I've been getting notifications a lot lately.
