I was looking through gamepass today trying to find something half decent to play. I'd give them about £3 a month for it. My 3 years run out in November, I will just go back to gold and buy any games I fancy.

Mine doesn’t run out until mid 2025, but this is what I plan to do, or whatever the cheapest sub is at the time for online functionality, as things could have changed by then.

Got one of these from Western Digital:

Transferred 155GB of MW2 from internal storage to the card in about 5/6 minutes. Thought it wasn't going to work at first but after doing the transfers and re-starting the console it seems to be working as intended. Nice to have a bit more space for games now and not have to re-shuffle / delete things on the Series S.

Oh, cool. I might get that!

Good deal at the rainforest for a refurb Series S if anyone’s interested

Interesting thanks, tempted to get one for the downstairs TV for my son to play FIFA and I can move my X back upstairs. If I did that how can the second Xbox access my game pass with a profile for my son?

I had a quick look into this recently and it seemed a bit complicated

Not complicated.

Set the downstairs console as your home console and then it can access the game pass on your sons profile too.

Thanks but do I add the new one to my Microsoft account and add a profile for my son or create a separate Microsoft account for him?
If he hasn't got his own account now; and you want him to play on his own profile then you'll need to create him an account.

Series S downstairs - sign is as you - set as home console. Sign in as him - he can use all the gamepass but not affect your progress
Series X upstairs - sign in as you - not home console - gamepass games will only work with online connection

I should add I've not personally done this yet, but I've read into it

Great thanks, another set of user names and passwords to remember too!

I need to make a decision on one of those refurb Series S today but I'm also considering keepi g my X downstairs and just getting a better TV. I've been trying to decide on this for about 3 months now :o

Hopefully my gaming tv is actually fixed today and I can get back to RDR2. Lots of XSX gaming to be done, especially since I need to test the tv a good bit and most of the failures seem linked to the XSX.

Anyone here doing MS Rewards and had their accounts blocked from redeeming any points? I've been doing the same thing for years (no VPNs, only one account, no search bots) and yesterday came to buy an Xbox gift card and computer says no. Sent an email to support, which came back in French saying I had six accounts and the ban wouldn't be lifted!!!!

Further research on Reddit suggests it's something affecting lots of people out there and the support email is sent by a bot to put people off.

Saw the same on Reddit weeks ago, figured they would have fixed it by now.

Ah, now I know it's a complete load of balls

Par conséquent, vos commandes ont été annulées, tous les points accumulés sur vos comptes ont été annulés, toutes les commandes de prix en attente ont été annulées et vous n’êtes pas autorisé à participer au programme Microsoft Rewards.

Which roughly says all your accumulated points have been voided which is clearly wrong as my balance is still intact and I can still gather points just not spend them.

Scary hearing about people getting banned for no reason. I just passed 1 million total points accumulated recently. I'd hate to lose out now!
