How do DHL let you know there's a fee to pay before they'll deliver it?

If they're anything like parcel force they write to you.
With Parcel force I kept checking, then when it got to my local depot I just went & paid the fee there and collected it at the same time.
Or in my case send me a bill for a shed load a few weeks later (% wise and nothing to do with these monitos I might add). It's is very random and totally depends who can be a**ed doing their 'job' or not on that day.
More get through without excessive charges than not but those who get stung can't really complain, it's the risk we/you take!

last time I ordered something from the far east (Japan) it turned up quicker than something the mrs ordered from the UK

Did you try a different power adaptor?
There are reports of the one supplied not being able to supply enough power to the monitor.
Mines arrived! I'll put a couple of pictures up later when I get the chance to sort it out

The monitor is on , you an see it switching when the bios or windows should show, you can alter the brightness up and down.
Dont have a different power brick, eveyone elses seems to work ,not mine, tried different graphics cards, cables etc.
Ive had enough of it! lol ,not wasting money on another power brick.

At 23:44 last night mine arrived at the delivery office after been stuck in customs for a few days. 2 hours later I get unsuccessful delivery because fees need to be paid and they apparently left a notice... at 2 in the morning. What do I do now?

My Pixel perfect Catleap arrived yesterday.
Ordered good friday.
Took it out the box and left it over night to "acclimatise" ( I've done this with every screen I've ever bought)
Set it up this morning, couldn't be happier
2B screen (will have a fiddle with it and report back)
I've got a stand to replace the crappy stock one with from a 27" Iiyama I put on an arm.
You can't beat these for the money, incredible value.
Ordered good friday.

Thought you meant dhl , erm the courier that is going to deliver it then
Found out its parcel force by putting my tracking number into the royal mail website, parcel forces website wouldn't except it?! Thats how I discovered it was given a new tracking number. I put that in the parcel force website, it just tells me awaiting payment with no where to actually pay.
I googled this, apparently I have to wait for them to send me a letter with a new code on it which I put into the website and then it will let me pay. What the hell?!

Plasti-kote Plastic Paint 400ml Black Gloss Spray Can should sort out the rubbish names on the front haha!
