Everyones different, for me I cant stand gaming on the IPS, its laggy and blurry compared to 120hz TN.

Same as the other way round, I cant stand watching movies or general PC use on the TN, its washed out and poor picture quality compared to IPS.

3 sold 2 of my Hazro's to fund the yamakasi monitors and should still have some change..

Just hope they are good now but I was at breaking point with the Hazro monitors, I was about to use my old Hann-G monitors again, I really don't know how people can use the monitors with massive amounts of glare, it's ok on photos etc but in games it stands out for me and makes me squint

I've not seen that many photos from people who have actually recieved them yet.

Unfortunately the ones I have seen, seem to have dreadful colour uniformity across the panel. I read a post on OCN from one guy who said he thought his was fantastic. Looking at the pic of the google homepage, the right handside was red, where the left was all yellow.

Just wondering (and considering OCUK forums seem to be made up of around 90% members who are quite picky) what other peoples thoughts were?

I've ordered one myself, and hope to get a good one. That said, at £200 you don't expect miracles, and so long as there's no obvious dead pixels I'll be happy.

Taking photos of monitors is never good, loads of times the pics look dead poor, regardless of camera, hardly a way to judge a panel.

Are you sure you aren't seeing reflections? I got red curtains which I imagine might make a glossy screen look red due to the reflection.
The lack of people complaining about it actually makes me think these aren't HP/Dell rejects. If they were I'm convinced we'd be seeing a lot more unhappy posts.

You cant judge a monito by someone else photo with a camera thats then been put on your computer screen.... are your serious?

You can only judge a monitor with your eyes when its infront of you, you cant expect a picture taken by a camera on your screen to be accurate.

Then why when someone thinks they have a problem do they start posting photos :confused:

Just to try and give them an idea of the problem I suppose, but you cant doubt a monitor and basically call people liars just by looking at photos of the monitor

I ordered my ShiMian Lite from the auction place over the Easter weekend, it was shipped on Monday and arrived at the Leeds DHL depot, via Germany and Birmingham, on Thu morning. Pretty quick I'd say!

ya not sure I havnt received any info yet on mine; not even sure it shipped yet. Guess its only been 3 days and its the weekend so maybe I should give em a little time

... anxious to see what a ips is like.

I didn't receive an email, I just checking auction site and they had posted a tracking number on my item. Took a week to receive mine but customs at Heathrow had it for 5 days (over Easter). So yea, the day I ordered it was the same day it boarded a plane

I'm going to take the leap on one of these on payday as my Samsung HDTV is awful at displaying photographs for editing, does anyone have a link or item number for the model with the ad board? I want to also hook it up to a freeview HD tuner...

ahhh - just found out they sent it out ~ about 2 hours ago. Ordered 4 days ago ... guess ok wont really care as long as comes in good working order.

Main reason I am upgrading my system is to play diablo 3 lol ... so as long as system is in good working order by then - its all good.
