Although some offer Pixel checks to ensure you do not get dodgy pixels. The PCBank usually offers this on everything, but sellers offer it for a fee for others.

In other news, mine seems to be in Kazakhstan. On the tracking it keeps repeating 'In transit though'. For example:

I keep getting excited there was an update but it just keeps repeating itself instead.

Moogley have you try'd taking it off the mount as i've read on another forum that the internals of the monitor is pretty close to the VESA holes.

It's off the mount now and still no joy but tbh the original stand connects to the vesa mount the same way so it should be the same. When I tried it this morning the screen flashed and the backlight came on but no display. It then turned off again and nothing since. I'm %99 sure the panel is dead as the power board is sending power to the panel.

I had a reply from the seller asking a few questions about trying different graphics cards, cables and monitors. He does say he will exchange the monitor so just waiting for a reply back from my findings as what he want's to do.

At least when I do get another I will have that wow feeling again as I will be used to 1080p again... :D

Oh dear my screen is no longer operating. Just turned it on and it flashed green and now nothing is displayed. I get the connected noise in windows if I pull the DVI lead out and put it in but the screen just has the Red light and nothing else.
I have tested with my old monitor and the pc is working fine and the monitor PSU has a green light.
Time to email Bigcloth chap and see where he wants to go with this....

Damn you Moogleys :) You are making me scared now :) Although at least I will have some idea of what to expect if it happens to mine in terms of returns, etc.

When did you receive the tracking number as it took a good few hours when I got mine to when you could use it. The seller probably receives the tracking number before the parcel is collected by the courier so it will take a while for it to register on the system.

I noticed it yesterday afternoon and it still doesn't seem to do anything :(
The sender claims it's been dispatched though.
 
On packagetrackr.com did you choose "autodetect carrier" in the drop down menu just in case it's not DHL (my DHL tracking number was 10 numbers)
